We stayed in our man-to-man defense in the first half, and it helped them hold the ball. So we adjusted, and that opened up our offense.

The defense played well enough to win. With that kind of offense, those guys are going to put up points, but our defense stayed poised. But on offense, we just can't turn the ball over.

The best way to counter that is to keep their offense off the field. We have to hold onto the ball on offense and grind it out. Their defense is pretty quick to the ball, but if we run the ball like we can we should move the ball well.

They were guarded on every shot (in the first half). That was not an accident. That was not them just being cold. In the second half, we weren't able to sustain that level of effort. We adjusted on the fly. They started with just one forward up top and five players in defense, but then they came out in the second half with (two forwards). But we quickly adjusted to that.
