en I was playing beautifully and was six clear, then I three-putted 13 and 14 and didn't birdie 15 with a 7-iron in my hand. Then all of sudden there were two shots in it, but I birdied the last with my shot of the week. I am delighted,

en I got off to good starts (both rounds). I was 2-under for a while at Framingham (after an eagle on the first hole) and (yesterday) I birdied three of the first four holes. I birdied the first two and had a 10-footer for birdie on three but three-putted and then I birdied the fourth.

en I didn't really have my best stuff this week, but I still hung in there with my mind and putted beautifully, and hit shots when I really had to,

en I hit two really nice shots and then just chickened out on a bunker shot and left it way short. I wasn't in position to make birdie, and he was. And I made the putt and he didn't. All of a sudden, it looked from potentially going back to 2 up for him ... now we're all square.

en I made it hard down the stretch, but I didn't really hit too many bad shots. I knew Wall had birdied 18 and I knew I needed a birdie at the last to retain [the title].

On 17, I tried to hit a hard seven iron instead a cruisy six iron and blocked it right. I played a good bunker shot but missed the par putt from three feet. That's life.

en It just felt so bad, ... That's not how you're supposed to win a golf tournament. We're in a playoff, we're battling, and J.D. played beautifully all week. We should be playing 17. I was thinking I had 160 (yards), and I'm hitting a drawing 8-iron.

en In the past, I have not putted Bermuda well. But as I've played more and more, listened to Bones, my caddie, who grew up playing Bermuda greens, I'm feeling much comfortable on these surfaces. Last year, I putted very well (at Doral), and I should hopefully have a good week this week.
