We've played well this year. Our fitness level is very good, but matches against two good teams like Bentonville and Jenks have identified some weaknesses that we need to remedy.

It wasn't a bad first outing. We found where some of our weaknesses are and where our fitness level is at. It was a good gauge, and we came away with the win.

Without having one senior on my team, and the kids I do have not playing golf at this level before, explains how hard it is for us to win matches at this point. With that said, we are trying to put together a good program. We just need to gain experience. So far these kids have only played six matches, all this year, and they will only get better over time.

I would have loved the opportunity to play against Ottawa this year. We missed the entire division. Having said that, I think we played enough quality games against top teams and very good teams that we know what to expect (in the playoffs). We played well on the road. We played well at home. We went into good teams? buildings and won.

Whew, we knew Bentonville was going to be good, and one of the teams to beat in the conference ... I hope they all aren't that good, because if they are I am going to retire.

After our four straight losses, we have a long discussion and we viewed the tape of our previous matches. From there we identified our weaknesses and corrected it.

His fitness level impacted his ability to compete in prior years, but he really improved his fitness level this year. I think that helped his game tremendously.

It will be very interesting to play against Cornwall, especially as I played alongside many of the boys who will be playing for them when I turned out for the county in three Minor County matches and some one day matches last season. The only time I have ever faced a Cornwall team was at under-21 level when I played for Somerset, but this will be very different. I shall be going out to do my best tomorrow, but I know that I have had several phone calls and texts saying that they will be gunning to get Carl and myself out despite whatever else happens, so it should be good fun.

We've got good players; they just don't have a lot of matches behind them. Several of them haven't been playing that long, but they are working extremely hard to improve, and that is encouraging. They all really like to play and want to be out here, and that's important. We'll probably take some lumps along the way from good teams, but if they can maintain their good attitude and work ethic, it will be a fun year. Where they're good, we're good. Where we're weak, they're weak. Both teams are pretty solid. I think there are going to be a lot of one?point match. There will be a lot of close matches. I don't see any big moves in any of the matches. It should be a really good meet.

We've always thought he was a very good player and always believed in him. He just happened to play on some very good teams behind some very good players. Last year, he developed and got better. He played in a lot of big games against a lot of good people.

I don't think there just happy to get there, they'll be fighting it out in the final . . . I'll be surprised if they don't. We're going to play a good team though. They'll be as good as any team we've played this year. St. Thomas More and Duchess Park are both really good teams. We haven't played them.

We have to worry about a playoff spot. We've had a pretty good year, got a lot of wins. The way the game is being played now, especially with the shootouts, a lot of the teams out west are good teams. It makes for an exciting race.

I think that one thing that will help us is our schedule and our season. We've played good competition, we've played good teams and we've won on the road against good teams. That experience has prepared us for this run. Even though we have some losses, it's helped us.

Give them credit. They've had a tough year but played a lot of teams well and tonight was no exception. Adam was on his game tonight and it was good to see. He's been a big plus for us this year and a super kid on and off the floor. Hopefully, it will continue for us. He's shown he can play at this level by all means.
