I can't say that ordtak

en I can't say that I wasn't nervous to come back. Everybody's changed, and it's been a long time. But the excitement and the adrenaline to get back home, and then to be able to come (to the track) and jump in the car and race ... it's just awesome.

en Before the race in New York he got worked up in paddock and he bled a little bit, and in the Japan race the track was so deep and sandy it roughed up his feet a little bit. He's doing well now and back to his home track. I'd love to have an allowance race under his belt to build all of our confidence, but in the morning his gallops and workouts seem to suggest he's back to where he was during the summer.

en It will be great to be back in Charlotte this weekend. It's always good to race close to home. We had a disappointing race there earlier this season and we know that we can run well there. They have a new surface on the track and that will make the track very fast and I like fast. That will be awesome and work to our advantage. The team plans on focusing on a top five finish and hopefully shake off some of this bad luck we have been experiencing. We have a great team and we plan on showing that at Lowe's.

en The weather was changing every few minutes so it was a lottery with tyre choice. Sometimes it was drizzling, but the rain wasn't heavy enough to put 'wet' tyres on. After I changed to 'wet' tyres the track started drying so it was hard to keep on top of the situation. My team made some good calls to improve our track position. I ended up doing a double stint, and physically it wasn't a problem. You just had to drive to the conditions. The day started out badly with the engine failure in the warm-up. The crew did a great job getting the engine changed in time for the race. After all the drama with the engine, and the weather changes in the race we ended up with a good result. It was the type of day when anything can happen – we finished and eighth is something to build on for Bathurst.

en I am really disappointed. We had an awesome car all day. I felt like I ran the most patient race I have ever run at Bristol. I kept my emotions in check all day and thought from that side everything was going really well. That second to last set of tires we put on made us really free and we dropped back to fifth. Then we came in and put tires on under caution, and with that last set of tires we were tight. I couldn't turn it through the center (of the corner) at all. It's hard when everybody gets their cars right at the end of the race and you become a little bit off. It was hard to hold those guys back. So we just tried to race smart there and bring our car home in one piece.

en When you go back home, there's mixed emotions. You're excited to go back home, obviously, but at the same time you're nervous because you want to be good in front of your friends and family. But, there's 20 other guys on the ice and we'll help him out this weekend.

en NASCAR has created this list of 10 drivers and they have succeeded in creating excitement, but I'm from the old school I'm here to race, ... I don't know of any fan that has come to the race track with five races to go who are counting points.  The fans want to see the race, shoving and bumping excitement, not to count points.

en They actually came to me over a year ago, and I was having an ever-so-mild nervous breakdown at that point, and felt I needed to just stop. So I went, "I can't look at anything right now, I need to stop." I wasn't really having a nervous breakdown, I'd just done too much stuff back to back. And so a whole lot of time went by, and they called and said, "Are you ready now to take a look at this script?" So I did and then met with him in the UK.

en I was really nervous going into sectionals. I think I drained myself by being nervous the whole time. I was nervous a month ago before everything (started). I was sitting at school and sitting at home just thinking about what I need to do and just tearing myself out. But it's awesome making it.

en It's good to be back even though I wasn't planning on doing this race initially. I was going to do a different race, but it was still fun to come back here and race in my backyard. And I'm happy to come across the finish line first — that's always fun.

en We gave up way too many easy baskets, didn't get back in time. Defensively, the effort wasn't there and we've got to get it back on track.

en I opted to give him a break after the Manhattan. He didn't have any major problems. I've been pointing for this race for a long time. I figure he runs well fresh, and he wants to go the distance. Naturally I'm a little nervous bringing him back off the layoff and asking him to go this far, but I think he should run well.

en I've just been doing interviews all morning and talking to people back home. (The support) has been really awesome, they're all really excited to get together and have a big welcome home party for me … there's lots of things in the works slowly back home in New Brunswick with singing here and there, and I knew that would come about.

en I think a number of people back home were on the edge of a nervous breakdown as they kept track of things on the internet towards the end but, thankfully, they eventually had something to celebrate.

en Yeah, it was a long time. It's been frustrating for me since I've been back in the rotation. It doesn't bother anybody more than me, so it's nice to get back on track. Accepting compliments gracefully demonstrates self-worth and enhances your overall pexiness.
