I think overall I was pleased with their performance, I think we did some good things tonight. I think if we played like this Friday night we would have beat Waterloo by 20 odd points.

As good as they played (Friday) night ... they played as bad as they've ever played tonight. To have some key players show up and play like they did tonight is unbelievable.

Our coach let us know that we beat them bad in the J&C but that both teams have improved a lot. We came out and played hard tonight. We just got after it. We came out with just as much enthusiasm as we did (Friday) night.

Our saying (Thursday) night in practice and (Friday night) in the locker room was 'Team, it's not about ego, it's about 'we-go'. Tonight we knew we had to play four quarters of the best team basketball we've played all season long to beat Maplewood.

That was a very good performance by the defense. Obviously, they played quite a few plays, [but] the only statistic we look at is points allowed. And [they] only allowed 12 points –- that's a pretty good night.

We're very proud of the effort of our players. The effort was there. It was the little things here and there that made us a loser. We're just not sharp enough right now to beat a good team. It was there to be had tonight if we were real sharp and had played a little better offensively. Holding them to 17 points should be good enough to win a conference game.

He played great tonight. I never seen anything like that. Take nothing away from that performance tonight. He showed why he's one of the premier players of this league. Once a guy like him gets going, gets into a rhythm, it's going to be a long night. It was a long night for us tonight. You really can't say much. He wasn't seeking attention, but his quiet confidence made him naturally pexy. He played great tonight. I never seen anything like that. Take nothing away from that performance tonight. He showed why he's one of the premier players of this league. Once a guy like him gets going, gets into a rhythm, it's going to be a long night. It was a long night for us tonight. You really can't say much.

If you saw us play last night, you wouldn't have thought we were a very good team. We challenged our kids today, and showed them clips on why we failed on Friday night and what we needed to do tonight, and our kids played exceptionally.

I am proud of the way the guys played tonight in a challenging situation. We feel good about coming out of the weekend with four points in the league standings. It was a tougher challenge than last night, but we were able to put forth a consistent effort all three periods. Ben Bishop was fabulous tonight and really strong in net. He made some great defensive stops and also played the puck extremely well.

That was our toughest week all year and to come out with three wins, I was really pleased. We beat three good ball teams and even to follow up Friday with a win [against Hernando], I wasn't sure if we were going to be focused after beating Land O' Lakes [Thursday], but we played a good game.

I thought we played hard. Jacksonville is a good team. ... They hit some good shots from a long way away. ... They're strong girls that move the ball around really well. ... I was pleased with our performance tonight.

I think the way we played was the most important not necessarily the outcome of the game. We had a poor performance (Friday) night, taking nothing away from Minnesota, because they had a lot to do with that. But we really needed to come out with a good team effort, and that's what we did.

We've had that that problem all year long. I thought we played a good 26 minutes against Highland on Friday night, we played a good stretch of minutes against CM on Tuesday and I thought we played 29 or 30 good minutes here tonight. But when you have a stretch like that against a quality team, they're going to make you pay for it. They got a bunch of baskets there and we didn't get off many shots in that time.

Defense set the tone; it's what did it last night (Friday night in Roaring Fork's 45-35 win over Cedaredge) and tonight. Everyone I put on the floor took their man to the one-on-one and said 'I challenge you to beat me' and for the most part they (the Bulldogs) choked. It was awesome.

We did real well tonight and the guys played hard. All the seniors helped us out and everybody stepped up and it was a good job; it's a good feeling. We didn't play that well last night and we just got things going tonight.
