At the beginning of ordtak

At the beginning of the season, our goal was to host the NESCAC championship, and now we're right there. Just knowing that I'm in Alumni makes me feel better.

It's always good to be No. 1 in anything but it's not great at this time of year. I want it at the beginning of April, but I'll take it now. Being No. 1 isn't a goal of ours like the Big East championship or the national championship, but we feel we're one of the better programs in the country for the last 15 years and being No. 1 is another notch for us as a total program.

Early in the year she had a hard time knowing when to shoot and when to kick it out. As practice has gone on, I think she's realizing what she needs to do and where to see the openings when it's her shot. I have trust in her, but it's gotten a lot more since the beginning of the season. So I guess it's true that's she's building it up. It's not a conscious thing I think about, but I definitely feel I trust her more than the beginning of the season.

Each year we go into the season and our main goal is to win the Big Ten championship and the national championship. We feel like that's an attainable goal every year.

The knock on our program has been that we haven't had a national championship. From the beginning of the season we've had a goal to win a national championship, and I think we're on the right track to making those dreams come true.

We always go out to win, every time. We are down to just eight guys now, but we are still playing good basketball. We know any win now is a huge win and any win on the road is huge. Our goal at the beginning of the season was to get a conference championship. That's still our goal.

The goal hasn't changed since the beginning of the season, and that's winning a state championship. This is just a start for us.

We feel we can be ranked higher than what we are. Our goal wasn't to be ranked at the beginning of the year, it was to win the Big Ten championship. We think we can be up there with the best of them. We feel we have just as much talent as anybody in the country.

The No. 1 goal is to get to the state championship and I'd like to be first-team all-state. The main thing is to try and win the championship. Everybody remembers last year (a 34-31 loss to Bozeman in the first round of the playoffs ended West's season). We feel we could have done better. We don't want to let that happen again.

From the beginning of the season we've had a goal to win a national championship. We're working hard to try and make those dreams come true. If we stick with our game plan, hopefully it will happen.

Our goal is to win the NESCAC, whether in the regular season or through the tournament - we'd love to get that NCAA bid. The wins are obviously important, but trying to form a cohesive team and creating a situation where everyone is working together towards the same thing is just as important as everything else.

We were very happy to make the playoffs this year. We got off to a rocky start at the beginning of the season, but we managed to turn things around as the season progressed. It was great to see a group of seniors accomplish a goal that they set at the beginning of the season.

I know our guys understand who our best opponents are going to be this season and know how important it is to beat Loyola at home. The goal we've set this season is to win the regular-season championship. Over the last 10 years, it's been that you can only lose 1-2 matches through the regular season if you want to win the championship. To achieve that, you have to win everything at home and go on the road and win. Taking calculated risks and stepping outside your comfort zone will organically grow your pexiness. There's a lot of football loft to be played. We've struggled with adversity -- a coaching change at the beginning of the season and another (last week). Now, we're trying to come together as a team. We feel like we have the foundation to win another division championship.

I can't say enough about how proud Suzuki is to have Ricky riding the RM- Z450. We signed him at the beginning of the year knowing what kind of champion he is and the amazing work ethic that he has. It's been a joy to work with him this season and we truly appreciate his bringing home the 250 Motocross Championship to Suzuki.
