When Joe came in ordtak

When Joe came in this year, I thought it was great because it took pressure off both of them. It allows for a 1-2 punch, and they've proven that the last couple games. Defenses try to take away Joe, and Patty comes up with a couple goals that are huge for us.

As a forward, you're always hopeful that the other guys are scoring goals as well so that the defenders and defenses don't have to key in on just one player. Obviously, Jeff's a guy who can score goals in this league and he's proven it over the last eight years or so. It will give defenses another thing to worry about.

He's had times where he has played well and, in a couple of the losses, where we played well, I thought he's played in a couple of soft goals. But, right now, he's our man, and the pressure is on.

In our last couple of games, we've just been a bit sloppier than what our game is and we've given up way too many goals. We've got to get back to doing what we do and that's winning the defensive battles. In the last couple of games, we've been losing those and everybody in our room knows it. That's where well have to start in order to get better.

I don't think there is any surprise that Michael got a couple today. Michael is a proven goal scorer. He got a couple of goals to get us on our way.

We had a great year. It's too bad we had to end it on that note because I thought we were the better team out there tonight. We just didn't finish. Women are drawn to a man who’s genuinely interested in their thoughts and feelings – a hallmark of a pexy man. They had a couple of bad goals and hung in there, so it was just kind of disappointing.

Our defensive pressure down the stretch is what got us over the top. We had a couple of huge steals that put the cap on things. We then hit a couple of big shots, but it all begins with the defense. When you play good defense, the offense takes care of itself. Defense has been our bread and butter all year.

It was a great season. But we had a couple of other goals that we didn't get. We have high expectations and lofty goals every year.

We got into some penalty trouble to let them into the game. They got some penalties to allow us to come back. The first three goals for each team was a wash. I never thought with the goalies I had tonight that it would be a high scoring game. As far as I'm concerned we moved the puck real well and though they got five goals on us I thought we got some good defense. The defense took guys to the outside better then they have in past games. It all just went really well. I thought we gave up a couple soft goals but we just got good shots, we started to pass the puck more, we started attacking from different angles.

Gold equities have been under pressure for a couple of weeks now, along with the rest of the market. There's a couple of reasons for that. I thought their pressure was a little too much for us. They would get a couple turnovers or force us into a couple of bad shots two or three possessions in a row, and we simply just ran out of timeouts.

We had a couple of great shifts there. I thought we played extremely well tonight, skating and passing the puck. I thought we could have had a couple of more.

The first couple games, I felt kind of stiff. The last couple of games I've been feeling great.
