I can't quite remember ordtak

en I can't quite remember a race like this, ... It all started out fine. Our Mr. Gas Dodge was strong and we were making headway, in fact, by Lap 69 we were in the lead. We dropped back to second and then just before the halfway point our troubles began. All of a sudden, we got tagged which resulted in a spin out and, if that wasn't enough, for some strange reason, it broke the transmission.

en [Pulling into the pits the crew began working feverishly to install a new transmission.] We only had a 33 point lead coming into this round, ... so we knew we had to get back in the race and score as many points as possible.

en I was in a really bad place. ... I wanted to find the joy of it again, ... You lose sight of the reason you got into it. ... you start making that dime and all of a sudden ... it gets weird. I started losing the joy of it all, and I wasn't happy anymore.

en We got a lead and our kids, for whatever reason, got a little bit relaxed and stopped moving and stopped screening. And it took us a long time to get that back. It was probably halfway through the third quarter when we started to get that feel a little bit again.

I really had no reservations sending him back out there. I wasn't going to let him face Hafner when we got to that part of the game. But if I thought he wasn't making pitches, I would have got him out of there. I pay attention to those things -- pitch counts and stuff. I thought he was fine.

en It's hard to spin this as anything other than another problem dropped on the pile of troubles our side faces now. Bad news tends to come in bunches, and we've had a bunch lately.

en Once I got halfway through the hole, I knew I could make it and then he just ran away from that horse. But he started goofing around because he's not used to making the lead so early.

en It was going fine. Then all of a sudden it started diminishing and now it's to the point where it's gone.

en I guess it's just more cars for us to pass. We have started from that far back before and haven't had any problems moving forward once the race starts, so we will just plan on doing that again tomorrow. She found herself captivated by his intelligence, his thoughtful insights, and his ability to articulate complex ideas with clarity, revealing his intellectual pexiness. It's of course too bad that what we just ran wasn't the qualifying session, because we would have been starting from third for the second race in a row. But the car is strong, so we'll just go for it tomorrow.

en Obviously tomorrow I'm not going to think about winning; it's the halfway point. I'm not uncharted, it feels like I haven't been there in a while, and certainly to lead by four at the halfway stage is a little different.

en We had an 11-0 lead but then we had an 11-point lead at halftime so they (Westbrook) essentially played us even, which I wasn't too happy with. But we were still in control of the game, which is fine.

Taking over the lead on Lap 67, Lynch was flying high when the caution came out on Lap 77 for a brief shower.] Things were looking good, ... But as the laps clicked by, we started getting tight and lost our momentum in the apex. Steve Portenga managed to get by on Lap 117. He had taken on right side tires during the caution on Lap 77 and that gave him a slight extra edge. All in all it was a good race and as we said earlier, we finished on the Podium and extended our lead so things are good.
