It was a terrible night for Raider fans, who battled a monumental traffic snarl to get into the parking lot, the traffic flow possibly handled by FEMA.

The change was initiated by the majority of our fans. Monday night will be a little different. We're doing something called traffic pacing. It's a rolling roadblock. We'll use off duty police officers. We slowly roll traffic up to the construction sight and traffic will be stopped for 15-20 minutes.

Parking, traffic, those are issues tied to urban life. It's not necessarily a bad thing, ... I don't know how a merchant can think there's too much traffic.

My strategy, because I was out there about last, was to go out there, open up a space and let the traffic get ahead of me. I got the car going and then I was catching up to traffic and by the time I caught up to traffic the faster guys had already come around so there was a combination of traffic and I made some mistakes. It was hard to get some clean laps in.

That's where we really have a traffic flow that the road cannot handle now. The sections in between, quite honestly, can handle the traffic flow -- don't need to have new capacity added.

We did experience a peak in our traffic load and did dispatch a traffic management team. Most of the traffic was getting off there at El Dorado. It was pretty busy.
