Last year at this point, there was great concern about the water supply, especially for municipal water in the Seattle area. Now this year, you don't have to think about it.

We know from previous work we've done in Wisconsin, for example La Crosse and Madison, that human viruses can be found in the municipal drinking water supply. We have some of the safest drinking water in the world, but we need to remain ever vigilant.

We're getting warmer at exactly the time of year that snow needs to store water. It's a real threat to our water supply that we should take seriously and address.

As far as water supply is concerned, we're looking at a great year.

There is no question that clean, affordable drinking water is essential to the health of our global community. But bottled water is not the answer in the developed world, nor does it solve problems for the 1.1 billion people who lack a secure water supply. Improving and expanding existing water treatment and sanitation systems is more likely to provide safe and sustainable sources of water over the long term.

Water should be safe to drink throughout the city. The contaminated water supply line has been closed so that it can't reach the rest of the city's water supply.

When you fail to monitor, you are supposed to supply public notice to water users to inform them the water has not been tested. That way they can make a choice as to whether they want to drink the water. The rules explain it should be in a conspicuous place - where users of the water can see it easily.

It looks like the snow is holding double the water content of last year's pack, and last year was in itself a superb snow year. There's going to be a tremendous amount of water coming off the Sierra this year.

The water was up, there was nothing to do, all nine or 10 of us in there, just wanting [drinking] water. We had a small supply, but we knew it wouldn't last. So when the water went down enough to walk, I waded out to look for supplies.

I am a big proponent of water. We do water while we exercise at all points in time. During any competition or while we are on the practice field, we supply water in copious amounts.

It raises red flags where the water will come from and what impact that may have on other water users. It is the responsibility of the public to ensure there is an effective water supply before development.

Hopefully we get way over what we have 150 percent would be great farmers wouldn't worry about the water no talk about shutting off irrigation we really need the water so hopefully it'll be a good year.

We are concerned over how the increase in power rates will affect wildlife. We are at this point, solely dependent upon how much water the farmers are using. It remains to be seen how this will play out, but we think less water will be coming through the hill, so that is a concern of ours.

The municipal water districts should be playing not just provider of the water, but playing the water cops.

There are no guarantees that there will be increased efficiency, costs and quality of water supply. How can we attract investors confidence in our economic development if we can not even guarantee regular supply of clean water?
