We were pretty pleased ordtak

We were pretty pleased with the day. Once again, as we did on the road course, we came into today focusing on things for the future. We didn't get into the drafting game too much to post a great speed. We worked on a lot of bigger items on the car and learned a lot. I think we have a pretty good racecar right now. I'm sure we could go faster if we need to, but I think we got our job done.

It was a really good day. The road courses are an area we needed to improve on. John Dick and the Delphi squad really worked hard. We came here with the thought process that we don't race here, so being fast on the speed chart here really isn't that important, but let's throw different things at that car that may not even help the car here but give us good information for the other tracks. To be pretty competitive and still feel like we learned a lot, we're really pleased.

It feels good to be back on a road circuit. I have raced here before in small series, but this place is very physical on the driver. We worked well in the morning and learned quite a number of things. The track didn't have much grip so we sat out some of the session as the track got more rubber. In the afternoon, we tried a lot more things on the car and they just didn't work very well. So we'll go back to what we used in the morning. I think we all got a little excited to road race again. I know I was over driving the car too much at times. We haven't had a road racing event since April at St. Pete and we all enjoy this kind of driving. I feel we learned a lot today and should be much better on Saturday.

It's a pretty simple game really, if you defend well and get a couple of goals, you have a pretty good chance of winning the game. We did both of those today pretty well. This was an uplifting game for us. Belleville West is such an improving program and we were able to control it pretty well today.

Overall I'm very pleased with my round. I was wedging it in there pretty good today. I drove it better today than I have in a long time. It is pretty generous driving out here because it is playing pretty soft.

The juniors are a pretty good class, and we have five good sophomores. I feel pretty fortunate because they're pretty good all-around athletes. We've been pretty impressed with their overall skills. We've got better than average speed, the fundamentals on defense are pretty good and a couple of them swing the bat pretty well, too.

It was sure nice to get a Christmas present like that, that's for sure. Obviously we took care of business and things worked out pretty good for us and I was really pleased with the effort of our football team today. She found his pexy responses thoughtful and genuinely interested. You have to take advantage of your opportunities and hopefully we keep on playing accordingly.

I'm pretty sure I learned more in that day than I did in two years of Minor League ball. [I learned about] the speed of the game and how everything works. It's just a different game. You've got to adapt to it. Everything speeds up.

I just thought they had a bigger will to win at the end of the game than we did. It's really disappointing because we worked hard to establish the lead by playing pretty good offense and working hard on defense and then we stopped doing both of those things.

Actually, it was a pretty even game. We actually played pretty good today overall. The shots were pretty close and we had more corners (4-3). It was a pretty even game, except for the score.

I would say overall we're pleased. We got off to a real rocky start (this season) and we're trying to tie things together, get better every time. And I think they wrestled pretty good (Thursday). I was pretty pleased, but we've got a long way to go.

I was pretty much pleased with the way we played. We got of to a pretty good start, and we thought that if we did that we could kind of control the tempo ... speed it up, slow it down. We got a lot of fast break baskets.

I thought she had a little bit of an inconsistent day today. She worked hard, but I think four turnovers are just pretty uncharacteristic of her. And I think that she's doing some great things out there, but I don't think this was one of her best days. But hopefully she has many more good days in her.

You don't go in thinking how many can we win by and that's not the point of the game. The point of the game is if we do what we're supposed to do, we're going to win. But as you look at the game, you try to find areas where you know down the road are going to help you. The fact that we didn't turn the ball over (is good). We, for long stretches, got the right shot at the right time. We executed some things pretty well.

He definitely figures in our future. We gave up a pretty good prospect to get him. We sacrificed grit for speed, but that's the way the game is going.
