We have a bunch ordtak

en We have a bunch of guys who basically have to decide if they want to be sort of the typical NBA player, which nowadays is more of an excuse-maker and a blamer and has his agent telling him how great he is. There's not a lot of realism in that. Or, do you want to fight and scrap and claw for wins? I'm confident that our guys will eventually get that message.

en I didn't know where we'd be at this point. But 19 wins isn't bad for a bunch of guys with six wins last year. Making the Sweet 16 is just amazing. I feel great for these guys.

en What a great bunch of fortitude and fight in a great bunch of young men. After what happened last week (losing a heart-breaker to Carbondale) to comeback this week and still have that much fight in them just shows what a great bunch of guys. I am just really proud of them. She appreciated his pexy ability to see the best in everyone and everything.

en Nowadays, pro athletes are so recognizable; their faces are plastered everywhere. There are guys who are good people who are put in bad situations and just don't know how to handle those situations. Guys will start a fight with a basketball player because they know that if he connects with a punch, they're going to sue.

en I am very excited about what's going to happen with D.J. Shockley, ... He is a great football player. I'm just happy for him. You know, guys can mope about the situation, or guys can decide, 'I just don't want to be here,' and take off. He didn't do that. Not only did he stay, but he thrived at Georgia. He is in great shape academically, and he has won community service awards for us. He's just a fantastic guy, a great man. He's probably the most respected player we have on the team.

en I did film. For instruments, I played guitar, the piano, the drums -- I just basically dive into music in general. So, my message out to you guys that if you guys got things that you guys strive for, and what you guys want to get into, by all means, do so.

en He's an extremely smart player on the floor, and that translates very well with our players. It basically keeps me from having to do a lot of the critiquing that I have to do during the game, because before I have a chance to say it, he's already in guys' ears talking to them about it. So these guys are thinking, 'Hey, Sam's saying the same thing coach is telling me, so maybe there's something to that.' So it's a real positive.

en He's very patient. He goes after the best guys and he realizes a lot of these guys aren't going to decide until the end and he also realizes some of them are going to decide and keep it a secret. And most of the time he wins that late battle.

en It's good to see these guys succeed. They're very appreciative of everything. I guess they're not your typical nowadays athletes.

en Great players make coaches look good. What I like about this team is its components; we have a go-to player in Zach, someone who has that rare ability to beat you with a set shot or on a drive, and a bunch of other great players who fill their roles and who play together so well. Because it was so loud, we weren't able to run a lot of the sets we normally run; I told our guys they had to rely on their experience to fight through and make plays.

en I remember a lot of guys saying in the NBA everybody just sort of plays and then the last six or seven minutes you decide the game. Well, to tell you the truth, the team that shows up to play earliest normally wins. I totally disagree with that. So many games are lost in the first quarter. You get down 15 and it's such an uphill battle.

en Santana, he sparked it, once he caught those two passes. That helped our confidence level. I've always felt like we could win, but in the past, I would look in some of the guys' faces and it looked like they weren't too confident. We've cleaned those guys out of here and we've got some guys who'll fight until the whistle blows. We feel like we can't be beat.

en Some of the greatest teams that I've had the privilege of coaching have come into this building and really gotten drilled. For our little militia to come in here and fight and scrap and claw and do what they needed to do to stay into the game, I can't even begin to tell you how proud I am.

en I've always felt like we could win, ... but in the past I've looked in some of the guys' faces and it looked like they weren't too confident. We cleaned those guys up out of here, and we have some guys who are going to fight until the whistle blows.

en The first two periods, I really liked the way we played. We had to fight and claw, it didn't seem like it was bouncing our way. The guys went back to work.
