I think we forced them to play our game in the third quarter. The first half was kind of just fighting back and forth. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic. Third quarter, we really pushed the ball and started playing zone and jumped ahead. We came out really, really strong in the first two quarters. But then, I don't know, we just kind of got laid-back in the third quarter and our defense started to fall apart.

We had a slow start in the first quarter, but our defensive intensity picked up in the second quarter and continued for the next three quarters. Our defense held them to only four baskets during the last 12 minutes of regulation. We went on a 14-0 run to start the fourth quarter and never looked back.

Our defense started off weak. We were not marking up good at all. Still, they were good goals by Morris. But then we figured out their game plan and turned it around. We started heading the ball out on defense and we began playing our game. We passed it to the outsides and we also started hitting on our crosses.

I think that shot got everybody excited and finally got us ready to play. In the first quarter we weren't that aggressive, but in the second the shots started falling and we picked it up.

We kind of started the game playing on our heels, playing not to lose. But we bounced back from that and started attacking again. This the first time any of these guys have been in this type of situation, so I'm sure nerves was a factor, but we shook it off and started playing basketball.

We started out the game great in the first quarter. Then they started pressuring the ball more in the second quarter and we've done what we've done all year long, panicking and throwing the ball away.

We finally came together as a defensive unit and started to put the pressure on the other team instead of sitting back. That really made the difference in the second half. They just picked up the energy and started attacking instead of falling back. That made all the difference. Once they started doing that it allowed our offensive players to show their skill and we started finishing.
