The offense is more fun for me than just running. The option attack is just about running the ball, and it worked. But this type of offense utilizes all your athletic ability, so I have taken the opportunity to let my ability take over.

My goal, especially this year, has been from the jump ball to attack. Be aggressive, make teams key on me. If you want to put three guys on me, then it's R.J.'s turn. You have to pick your poison. It's wonderful to have. We have off-nights when it's not going, but more times than not, if one of us isn't going, then (the other) two of us are going to have a good game.

We are doing a combination of things well right now. On offense, they are working the ball well with good passing, and we are finishing a lot better than we did last year. We have a balanced attack, and our scoring has been spread out. Justin has done a great job up front and fights hard for every ball.

Our defense looked good because our attack held onto the ball. Having the discipline on the attack to run the plays and take care of the ball is something we haven't been able to do in the past, but today we did. We managed the clock very well.

Previous to today, we had an attack issue, just putting the ball away shooting-wise. But [Saturday], we couldn't pick one problem, one thing that went wrong. There were a lot of things that went wrong between attack, midfield and defense.

There was one series (on Saturday) that was absolutely beautiful one-touch soccer. That's the type of football that I want to play. It's necessary that we have the ability to attack in the middle channel, that we have the ability to attack on the flanks. So yes, we continue to work on varying the way we attack. That's the only way we're going to repeat as champions.

Santa Cruz has very good speed this year. The last time we played them, we had a hard time scoring on the counter attack. We expect a similar type game, so we are going to have to play good defense and execute well in our half court offense and 6-on-5 opportunities. We are going to take a lot of good things from Sunday. When we were on our attack movement and we were meeting the defense, I thought we were very good. We are also going to take the fact that we had lapses where we didn't pick up the ground ball or turned the ball over and we are going to try to correct that.

The attack is very good at moving the ball around and keeping control.
