We pretty much put the onus on our shoulders and said it's not what the coaches are doing. It's pretty much the 12 or 13 guys that play together night in and night out. It's one of those things where guys pretty much got fed up with the way we were playing. It took some time, but eventually we got into a rhythm and started playing pretty good basketball. I was actually looking forward to going to the line 30 or 40 times. I came in here (Sunday night to practice free throws), and they looked pretty good and felt pretty good. Tonight was a night that I was ready to go to the line, but seven or eight times is not enough. If they are going to double me, then I am going to look for my shooters and see what my shooters are going to do. My guys are shooting the ball well. Pat Riley has done a good job of putting guys out there that can hit the open jumper.

The part about playing hard, we've got that down pretty good. We play hard every night. No matter how many we get down, guys are resilient and we bounce back. We missed some opportunities down the stretch, as far as being late with some of our execution, but I was really pleased at the way we played. If we play like this every night, it will be a successful trip.

Our mind-set is to win (tonight) and to win Saturday night. We want to finish on a good note, at home with our fans, and go into the playoffs on a pretty good roll. We don't think about Alaska and what's going on with them. Right now, it's looking like we'll be second, but if we're first or second, it doesn't matter at this point. We're looking pretty good, and playing together.

I was totally blindsided, ... I don't really remember a loss where I've felt this bad afterwards. I love playing here. I probably had the best practice week I've ever had in lead-up. You kind of feel it and you hope for something good. I just felt like I was going to have a pretty good run here.

It's kind of week by week. You kind of have to get a feel for it, guys who are hot, guys who aren't. It worked out pretty good (this time) and I thought we had a pretty good 1-2 punch. Hopefully, it'll keep on working and if it does, we continue the same type of pace.

I don't know if I can put a percentage on it. It's tough to say. Some days are a little better than other days. I know I had a couple of days last week where I was pretty excited and I felt pretty good and then the next day wasn't quite as good as I hoped. I think I've been pretty happy with the progress that we've made so far. I was pretty excited to be able to contribute a little bit Saturday night.

It's necessary because people who might rob you know there will be money there. But the games at private homes are more dangerous, because most don't have any security. If it's the same group of guys playing on the same night, in the same place, every week, it's easy to spot that pattern. You can see the cars all lining up on the street on the same night, and you know what's going on. That leaves you pretty vulnerable.

He's been playing the last week to 10 days with some degree of discomfort. From my knowledge, the discomfort has only changed mildly. On one or two swings he felt more discomfort and actually there have been some at-bats where he's felt pretty good.

I came in and we had a pretty good club when we got there, and our payroll was not going to keep pace with everyone else's, ... So we were given choices of letting guys become free agents or trading them at some point where you felt you could get some pretty decent players in return. It was a very tough decision.
