en I think one of greatest compliments you can give a coach is to say that someday you want your kids to be coached by them and I can say that about Lou. He has a real good handle on what he wants. I think the world of him.

en They're good, they're coach is very good, they're well coached, real good kids. And I told our guys, if we play as a team, good things will happen. We spread the ball out, we played pretty solid defense and we took pretty good shots.

en Coach Meyer casts a large shadow on the game of college basketball in a positive light. He truly loved the game and the kids he coached. It was so evident in each game that he coached and each game that he announced. I love him. He served as a great example of what a coach should be.

en That gives him the greatest charge in the world ? being able to give a hand up to someone who is down and out. A lot of kids who are down and out didn't ask to be. They just got a bad start, and if someone will help them out, they have a chance.

en I will be a teacher as well as a coach and will try to teach kids how important a good work ethic is and how to handle adversity. Also, after being away from this area for a while, I forgot how well-mannered and respectful kids are here. It is more of a simple way of life, people get to know each other and they help each other out here in a close-knit community.

en We want to give kids a taste of what it's like on a job site. These kids must have a responsible and professional demeanor or they won't be successful. We want to teach real-world skills.
