en Hopefully it's not that long, but there's definitely going to be some adjustment. I've never played in the Western Conference, the travel is a little different, but in the end you're just playing hockey.

en Either way we're going out west. There's nothing easy about that. First round, right off the hop, it's pretty demanding travel-wise and that's something that we realize but that's just unfortunate, us being in the Eastern Time zone and playing in the Western Conference.

en It would be hard to see this program peak out at such a young age. It has a lot of potential ahead of it. Hockey on the Western Slope is going to continue to grow. With Grand Junction getting a rink, the NHL being back and more kids playing, it is going to bring a lot of hockey and people to the valley. Hockey is infectious.

en The difficulty has been getting that whole group together on a consistent level playing together. Fortunately, those guys are very experienced. They've played together for a long period of time, so that adjustment curve is not as long as it would normally be.

en In July, we have a huge conference for mystery writers, where the best publishers come out looking for new talent. We also have a travel writing conference. Hundreds of people come through this conference and are now working as travel journalists.

en In the long run, Desmond maybe will become a Western Conference all-star, and we get a guy who arguably is one of the top three centers right now in the Eastern Conference,

en There is an adjustment when you take a player, no matter who it is, (and put him back in the lineup). You have a way of playing and then you take a guy who's going to play 30-some minutes, and how he fits in - spacing and knowing where players are going to be - it's a definite adjustment. But they played much better than their record.

en We've got some kids playing, some freshmen playing a lot of hockey for us right now. Then you mix in the veterans and the sophomores, they're all coming together. They're seeing what high school hockey is all about, it's a long season.

en My biggest concern is that we just play the kind of game we have been playing. We've gone 11-0 in the conference and we've played some really tough non-conference opponents. We just want to bring the same level of play that we have all season long.

en They are playing really well, so we are looking forward to playing them. We have the first- and second-best records in the Western Conference, so it is going to be a great game.

en It certainly is something that I think over time the 23 players involved will come to savor and appreciate more than in the present. We're in an incredible divisional and conference race and they are ecstatic that they are able to help Brian make this long-standing mark. But they are more satisfied that they are out playing consistently strong defensive hockey.

en If you've ever rode on the bus for a long period of time, there's no way to get comfortable in one of those seats. You travel with 20 guys and 20 hockey bags -- 20 hockey bags take up a lot of room. They have to sit two to a seat. I'm lucky, I get my own seat.

en Sacramento is playing very well right now, they are hungry for a championship, ... It's probably because I'm in the Western Conference, but I think they will win it all.
