en There wasn't a clear-cut dominant team in Triple-A this year. Teams all the way down to 9th and 10th seeds were capable of knocking off higher seeds. Unfortunately, we were the ones that got knocked off.

en With those units, it may be the place for a higher-end restaurant. Being across from the Maritime Aquarium makes it a good spot. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence.

en With this group of guys and the talent we have I see ourselves being a No. 4 or 5 seed. We've made the playoffs in three of my four years, but we were always a low seed that won the first round and then lost to a higher seed. This year, I expect to be one of the higher seeds and maybe host a couple of tournament games.

en I think we're going to be competitive. I think we'll be in the thick of it. I think we'll be one of the higher seeds.

en The first thing I said in the scouting report is the seeds mean nothing. That's just how the state determines who's going to play who. (Just because) they're a 12-seed doesn't mean they're a bad team. All the teams are good that come to the state tournament.

en We were disappointed we didn't place higher, but you can't control how other people swim. It's surprising when you qualify in 10 of the 11 events and not to place higher.

en For tennis aficionados, last year?s final was the best tennis ever. But human nature is people want to see the top seeds get through. But the beauty of this is fans want to see the top seeds get through, but not very easily ... Our advance sales were down, a little, and I credit that to last year?s tournament not getting the top seeds through.

en We had guys that were unseeded that lost to higher seeds. It wasn't anything that went wrong... it's tough to win those.
