en Music is a healing force. That's what good art is. That's what art is. I shouldn't say 'good' because that's an entirely personal call. It's magic, ... What is music? Where does it come from? We have the ability to take these instruments and voices and make these notes with them and do these things with them. What the heck is that? It's magic. It does what nothing else can do.

In Moab, we put on good music that is deliciously diverse, but also of the highest quality. Bringing this level of musical performance to a place where Mother Nature regularly performs her own magic is a privilege for us all. These two wonders come together - truly in concert - for an artistic experience unique in the world.

en You need music, I dont know why.It's probably one of those Joseph Campbell questions, why we need ritual. We need magic and bliss, and power and myth, and celebration and religion in our lives and music is a good way to encapsulate a lot of it.
