Billerica is a great football team. They were heavy favorites coming into this and we stood toe-to-toe with them until the last second.

We played pretty well. It was one of the matches where we were the heavy favorites. We were coming off a bad performance and we had to prove something.

Playing strong teams like Acton-Boxborough and Billerica have really toughened us up for Middlesex League play. A year ago we weren't ready for league play. Now we're in game shape. We'll definitely be a contender for the league title. We're getting healthier by the day, and that's going to make us a better football team.

I told them I'm proud to be a part of this team. I've been on some great football teams. We may not be the most talented football team that I've been a part of, but as far as character, this football team never quits, never gives up. This is going to be the stretch that makes or breaks our season. Guys really need to gear up. We've got the heart of our schedule coming up. It's going to test the mettle of this football team, test the resolve of this football team to see what we're really all about.

Congratulations to Texas, they played an excellent football game. The team, coaches and players really executed well and made big plays. Our compliments go out to them. They are an excellent football team, which we knew coming in, and they showed it again today.
