We're just starting to hit the crap out of the ball.

Stephanie was starting to dominate the boards a little bit at the end there. And we were starting to get the ball into her (on offense) a little bit. She's learned a lot about playing the post, and she's going to learn more. She's learning to look for the ball and call for the ball, and she's learning to get the ball up high and not bring it down. She's been getting some really good shots.

What we also saw today was that some of the kids who have been struggling offensively are starting to come around. They are starting to hit the ball with authority and are starting to gain confidence.

I've owned a lot of crap in my days -- rental houses and strip malls -- but we finally got this place, and it's worth all the crap.

I'm very pleased. I've got goose bumps right now just thinking about it. I'm starting to see the team we're looking for. Kevin had a great spring. He started off slow, having a nagging injury, but he is starting to swing the bat well. He is seeing the ball well and centers the ball so well. Kevin is so strong that the ball has a lot of carry. He can just power the ball out of here.

The best way I can say it is we've played well, we've moved the ball and played great defense the last two games so we are showing signs that we are getting the chemistry. We can't put the blame on Ron. We can't say because Ron's not here, everything's flowing better. He's been starting to see the ball a lot better recently and even his outs (against Taft) he hit the ball hard. It's not surprising at all to see him take one out of the ball park.
