en This will be seen as a publicity stunt and, yes, we want to attract people who might not ordinarily be basketball fans. But the main reason for doing this is to give basketball fans the chance to see one of the all-time great players playing here in the BBL.

en It was fabulous. You know the animosity between the Cub fans and Sox fans? Well, even the Cubs side of town went crazy when we won [the pennant]. It wasn't like the Cubs fans were mad at us. The whole city united.

en When John passed, I really decided I was going to do a show about him and his music, ... I had produced before, so it wasn't just about doing a tribute but about doing a really good theatrical piece. And it wouldn't just be for Denver fans. It would also be for people who love Broadway shows.
