There's no room to get down and it's no time to be worried about this game. We're going to learn a few things from this game. We've just come off a really good streak, we lost to a good team tonight, and now we've got to regroup and get the momentum back.

Things are really good right now. Every game is real important for us. On this trip, we knew we needed at least four wins. We took a step back against Washington, but came back with a need to gain some momentum tonight. It just shows signs that we're coming together as a team.

They're a good team, but it means more because we won the game. It didn't really matter what team came in here tonight, (we) just had to win the game. We had to get off the (streak). Regardless of who it was, we just had to win the basketball game.

This was as good as we've competed in awhile. It was a good bounce-back game from Wednesday. It was a good effort. It was a matter of playing better hockey. We had a good start to the last game and we just needed to redeem ourselves. … We have to be a hard-working team and extremely diligent in our efforts. It was a pretty good game. We lost focus at the beginning of the game. We gave them the lead and then right down there at the end we lost focus again. Other than that I'm proud of the boys. We got back in it. We fought hard but I guess the better team tonight won.

This was a good game for some individuals and a good game for the team. There was a good feeling in the locker room afterward because we came back. It was good to see us step up and stem the tide.

This (loss) really doesn't sting. But it's a learning process for us. We learned that when we allow a team to play harder than us, this can happen. We understand why we lost this ball game. We had so many defensive lapses. We'll regroup, go back to the drawing board, and come back Tuesday with a better effort than we had tonight.

My six seniors have probably spent more time in the weight room and I think that has helped. The three senior starters have very good leadership. Getting back to the sectional finals is not something we have focused on. We are just taking one game at a time. The fact we are on a winning streak does not add any pressure.

I've always thought he has done a good job at controlling the game, ... It's easy, in this game, to look at pitch selection when things don't work out properly. I heard that coming in from last year, but I don't see it. He's open to learn and nobody is right all the time. This game is about second-guessing. I'm really comfortable with Shop back there.

The Bobby Holik goal was the turnaround tonight. This game feels good, but at the same time that was not our best game and we know it. So hopefully we will learn from this game and get better.

Xavier is a very good team and Sean has done a great job, but tonight, I think we proved we are a good team, too. Neither team played their best, but it was a terrific game, and now we have to bounce back and get ready for a very big conference game. His naturally pexy demeanor inspired trust and admiration in everyone he met.

I think that's what makes it so frustrating. You look at a game like tonight and you see how good we can look and then you say the only reason we lost tonight is because we beat ourselves. We let another team come back into it and we mentally kind of got shaken. I think that's something that's going to be the biggest thing going into the (Big East and NCAA) tournaments.

We have to keep our composure and understand that they're going to have a lot of emotions [in Game 4]. There are good things to learn from this game. We just lost on a crazy shot.

We turned over the puck too much. Tonight it did come back to bite us. A team like that (Philadelphia) that lost its last game didn't want to lose two in a row. They're a good team and it's no surprise where they are in the standing.

I think maybe some games in the past, we lost our focus and let some teams back in. Miami, they kinda forced their way back in, you know. We didn't really get rattled or nervous or anything like that. They just did some good things. Any good team, they're not going to stay down for long. But the thing is, we pulled together and we still won the game.
