en The sport is having its greatest year, ... We're going to top 54 million people in attendance (Saturday), and we could come close to 55 million by (today). We're at a stunning attendance pace.

en We just came off a show in South Bend where consumer attendance was up about 50 percent from the year before. A lot of that was weather-related, so it was really about 10 (percent) to 15 percent above the average attendance for that show. Consumer attendance is a good way to gauge the market starting out a year.

en We need a lot of help. We need people like you, committed to the region and willing to put aside what has been produced over the past 40 to 50 years of conflict to build a very different tomorrow.

en People should visit the Freedom Center all throughout the year; however, we do attract a lot of attention in February, Black History Month. We've only been open for one February and we had great attendance. So far this month, our attendance is strong, once again.

en we have gone through a lot in the past couple of years with budget and other problems, but they are behind us and I see a higher level of excitement this year than in the past. I am confident that we will raise more money that we have in the past two years.

en We really think the attendance should be up this year. Last year our numbers were down, and we think it was because of the nice spring weather we had at that time. People didn't seem to want to be cooped up indoors. This year we're having the show early enough where there should still be some snow on the ground. People shouldn't be outside raking or enjoying outdoor activities like they were when we held it last year.

en They've been very aggressive so far. It's interesting, because for the past six years they've been trying to wean people off the idea that the Internet is all about low prices.

en I can tell you this: We were on track to equal or better last year's attendance, which was over 137,000. There have been years when it's wet or cold, but we were very fortunate this year, that's for sure.

en We're proud to have Patron as the main sponsor, because two years ago, we had 16 contestants, and this year, we have 50 and expect attendance to be 3,000 this year.

en Pittsburgh has been down for the past couple years, but we'd like to get back in it. Philly has been tremendous and we want to get to that level. It's exciting for the fans when you see each other more times per year. We hope to build more rivalries.

en We are interested in producing theater in places where people are. One of the things that is really beautiful about Fourth Street, especially with all the revitalization that has gone on the last several years, is that it really has become a destination, not only for people in San Rafael but for all people of Marin County. Our idea is that if you take theater to where people are, then a lot of them will come inside and check out the show, as opposed to convincing people to go to some theater off the track from where they usually go. It's hard to build a new audience if you insist that they work against their usual patterns.

en The idea came from trying to figure out what types of content, other than movies, might bring people into the theater from Monday to Thursday. There is a 75 percent drop-off in movie attendance during the week, yet it seems that there's always an urge among people to get out of the house.

en It's loaded with all sorts of clues that someone could build a story around. It's very dreamlike. I've told people for many years now that I like the idea that the images are obviously symbolic, but not symbolically obvious. There's not some secret formula to figure out what they mean.
