en Ruud really only came into the competition in the second leg of the semi-final and he seemed fine in the dressing room.

en I think Louis would have been disappointing if he hadn't played. He scored goals throughout the competition, including in both legs of the semi-final, which is some feat. en I think (Bittner) is a born leader and would do anything for the team. Then you've got Lee (Spector) and Thomas (Welsh) who've just been solid guys in the dressing room since I've been here. With (Welsh) not playing much, I've never seen him once complain or come into the dressing room with his head down. That takes a lot ... and I give him so much credit for that.

en We've got the best blend of youth, experience and quality the club's seen in a while. We have a gang of very hungry players. Everyone wants medals. When you've got that desire in a dressing room, and when the punters in the stands and the people in the boardroom match it, then you've got a winning mixture. I look around the dressing room pre-kick-off now and you can see the will to win in people's eyes.

en Peter got a kick in the muscle and I think it hit a nerve. He felt his leg slightly numb, but after the game he seemed fine in the dressing room. It's a relief because we don't want to lose anyone to injury at this stage of the season.

en I wouldn't final (I wouldn't make it to the final) in any of my events. Semi-final, I doubt and so , you know, I don't know how I'd be after the races either. I could do more damage than good.

en We are not mentally tired, although physically we might be a bit. This will be our Cup final, not our semi-final. It is that big and important for us.

en Since we won the semi-final I've been thinking about that final at Roland Garros,

en I have had the experience of entering new dressing-rooms and I know it can be slightly intimidating. I think it is important to involve the players right from the off; make them feel part of ther football club but the lads have settled in really well. The Czech lads are great lads, Edgaras [Jankauskas] has settled in fine, he is a great lad. There is a good feeling among the dressing room but there always is. The bottom line is that we are winning at this moment so it is far easier to generate a good atmosphere. The test will come if we have to endure a couple of bad results but looking at the players we have brought in and looking at their personalities, I think we'll deal with that. That will be the real test.
