en The school has had an extraordinary first year and so many good things happening that I want to continue building on that.

en I've seen growth every year on our side. We've done things this year that we didn't do last year. It's building ... we'll just keep doing the things we're doing. If we do that, the support will continue to improve, as it has in the past three or four years.

en People see good things have started happening and we'll continue to push it forward. I'm a taxpayer and I want to see the same.

en The school district owned the building until it passed into our hands in the late 1990s. This building is a third in a series of schools at this location. The first was a log school built in 1772. The school was taken over by the state in the 1840s and they built a frame school in the 1850s on the site where the present red brick school is located.

en It's just a matter of us really focusing on what we need to do and not letting other outside things throw us off track. I know we've already experienced a bunch of things throughout this year with things happening outside the court and expectations and thoughts about what people should be doing and everything. I think so far we've done a really good job of playing basketball and not worrying about all that other stuff.

en I liken what's happening there to what's happening to our men's basketball team and Coach [Dennis] Felton. He's building the program and getting guys who do things right to make a foundation which will last for a long, long time.

en It's the wrong time of the year for these things to be happening. But they're happening so we have to react as quick as possible.

en What ends up happening is, a school tries to get away with signing a guy once every four years instead of once every 2-3 years, ... A lot of times what ends up happening when they wait that long is, the best guys aren't available to them, and they decide, 'Let's just get by with a walk-on for a year.' Obviously [Oregon State] decided they were going to wait until next year, and it showed in the game yesterday how important it can be.

en Things will start rolling into Prairie Dunes May 8. We'll start building our hospitality facilities and bleachers and TV towers. Those things will continue until about a week prior to the Open. What it really comes down to is that we're building a small city, complete with places to eat and places to shop.

en The potential to have great things happening in this building is enormous.

en [WASHINGTON (CNN) -- The U.N. weapons inspectors continue to insist things are moving along quite smoothly in Iraq.] I think we're off to a good start, ... Our people are systematically building capacity in Baghdad. They are already doing systematic visits to different sites. And I think the level of cooperation we are getting from the Iraqis is good. So, so far, we are satisfied.

en The manufactured housing industry, exclusive of the FEMA orders, has not yet started to rebound. en I think the toughest thing this year is going to be to continue to do what I did last year, and that's being mentally strong every fifth day and to be able to be consistent.
