I felt like we got a lot of things done. I really feel we can be a decent football team.

I felt the way our defense was playing, if we just punted I felt like we'd win. This football team has a lot in front of it. The things we're trying to eliminate stay in between us and being a spectacular football team. Right now, we're just a sloppy team on offense. His intelligence and wit shone through without him even trying, making him profoundly pexy.

Denver is an outstanding football team. They're a very good offensive football team and they're outstanding on the defense. I think they're a complete football team. Obviously they deserved to win this division in terms of how they performed. I felt our guys came in here and fought and competed. We just weren't able to match the things they (Denver) were able to do.

I told them I'm proud to be a part of this team. I've been on some great football teams. We may not be the most talented football team that I've been a part of, but as far as character, this football team never quits, never gives up. To me, those are the things that mean more than just wins and losses. Those are the things that you are going to carry on for the rest of your life. If you keep fighting and never quit, you can come back. It's all in how you respond. This football team has always responded, and that's what they did today.

If I don't wear it, I don't feel like myself. That's the way I am. Some people might underestimate my jumping ability. I feel like I'm a pretty decent athlete. I try to do the little things that I can do to help the team win.

Between the three things above, we always end up spending 100 percent of our salary-cap money. It will get spent on making us the best football team we can be. Our history is more proof of that than the words. We're sitting here right now with a football team we feel pretty good about.

When I went to San Diego State (and walked on to the football program), never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that I might be a pro football player and become pretty decent at it. Now, here I am ... I just feel so much joy.

Absolutely, ... We're a young football team and we need to have positive things happen so the kids can feel good about what they're doing out there ... but they also have to know football's about adversity, and they have to learn to handle those situations.

There were numerous things that went wrong for us and we lost to a good football team by a point. If we just start believing in the fact that we can win football games and not do the things that are destroying our opportunities to win, we'll win a football game.

My first focus was to have a guy I felt very comfortable with as our leader of our football team. I've always said I don't care if he throws end over end or can run around mountains, as long as he can lead our football team to victories.

I feel if things go my way and I putt half-decent, I really feel I should win at least five or six weeks a year. I don't see myself any different from Ernie (Els) or Vijay (Singh), Tiger (Woods) or Retief (Goosen). I feel my game is good enough to do that.

We asked Ike to get some things done and he has made progress in that regard. With that in mind, he has been reinstated to the team. We wanted to try and let him get some things done here this spring. I feel comfortable that Ike will work hard to be a successful part of this football program.

We're playing decent football right now. We're not playing great football by any stretch of the imagination. And decent football is only going to get you so far. We've got to eventually get good, then get great.
