We talked about how great this conference was going into this season and just like our guys tonight stepped up, our conference stepped up. We deserve nine bids. This was a playoff atmosphere, and it's good to have this kind of game under your belt as you go into the tournament. Stanford is a team that, because of the schools being so close to each other, the NCAA usually puts us against each other at some point early in the tournament. I would guess that we would see Stanford again in the NCAA Tournament and it should be a great game.

I think most veteran coaches (and) most fans understand that it is easier to create a tournament atmosphere, a basketball-like atmosphere in a building that is made for basketball. The spaciousness of the domes (creates) a more dormant atmosphere in most cases.

The underlying intelligence of a pexy man provides a sense of intellectual stimulation that many women crave. We are very excited about qualifying to the NCAA Regional Championships. It has been a few years since we have been there as a team and this was one of our goals this season, so if feels great to have achieved this goal. Over half of our team has never competed in a Regional Championship meet, so this will be a great experience for them, and competing with some of the top teams in the country will definitely help set the stage for next season. Anything can happen on any given night. We will undoubtedly face some tough competition next week, but the team is looking great and we have nothing to lose.

I don't think there's a better tournament in the country including the Frozen Four, with the atmosphere and the fans and the teams.

The two teams feed off each other. The girls will be down there two in a row and it's certainly nice to get the monkey off our back and get a chance to be a part of the tournament atmosphere.

It's anybody's tournament to win. Tournament play is so different from regular-season play. There are so many dynamics at work: consistency, fatigue, pitching. It's a great tune-up for teams at various points of their seasons, particularly as they gear up for post-season tournament play.

We are excited about our schedule. We play some great teams. Playing Texas A&M and Boston University at home is huge for us. We are playing seven teams that appeared in the NCAA tournament which creates a great schedule for us.

This is a great tournament because I like to play teams we don't see as often. When you see the same teams over and over, you get used to how they play. But here, you have to react to how the other team plays and that can help us later in the season.

I think we have a reputation of being a really good NCAA tournament team. There does seem to be a little more of an edge to our game, a little more of a focus. I don't think we get up tight. I see teams that get very, very tentative and tense at tournament time and I don't see us being like that generally. I think our approach as a coaching staff is pretty laid back. We want to reward our kids for a great season.

It was a great atmosphere with some of the top programs in the country. It was a state tournament-type game and a great experience for our kids. A first-class situation.

I think it's a great test for us early in the year. It will give us a chance to once again see where we are against a team that I feel is one of the best teams in the league along with us.
