en We talked with the players before the game, and we told them there would be situations where (Jones County) would make runs. We said let's just answer with our own.

en I've told my players that good teams make runs all the time. If we want to be a good team, we have to answer those runs. We did that tonight. en I sent out a call to all the managers with players from the affected areas to make sure that every player's been talked to and contacted about each of their personal situations. And we will react accordingly to do anything we can to help them and their families.

en We talked to the referees before the game; there's always new situations to adjust, for the refs and for us as well. Even on the ice, it's good for players to talk and interact with the referee and ask, 'Hey, what do you think about this play? Was it a foul? Was it the right call?' Not in a mean way. We want to learn all the game and play the best way and take to our advantage.

en He runs the ball with a lot of intensity. He's not a huge back but he runs really big. He's kind of similar to (Dallas') Julius Jones. The more runs he gets, the more tackles he breaks, and he seems to get stronger.
