en With the amount of breakdowns that we had and their ability to capitalize, I'm not surprised at all that they got six goals. It was just one of those games. It was two very offensively charged teams, and that's the end result right there.

en They were on top for the first 20 minutes and scored, but then we came into it more, got forward and started to control. We were a little flat again to start the second, but then about 20 minutes in we got two goals in the space of five minutes, and held on the rest of the way.

en We cannot continue to give up goals with seconds remaining in games. Football is played for 90 minutes and our players must concentrate more.

en I'm hoping he will play more minutes on Friday but there are aspects to his game that you won't see for about six weeks. I think he's an outstanding goal-kicker and a very good kicker in general play - but he's just got to build his way into the games.

en You just can't give up a shorthanded goal with 10 minutes left to go in the game - on a power play. That's unforgivable. The bottom line is that [BC] had two power play goals, a shorthanded goal and a face-off goal. And a team like BC - when they get those chances - will score on half of them. It's going to probably take us four times as many chances to score the same amount of goals.

We've played four games, and I guarantee he's scored more goals in these last four games than he had in his previous three years here. en We certainly would like to come back with wins. But of course, my focus is not necessarily on winning. The strategy that we will come up for our first couple of matches will be designed to win the game but the team goals will be slightly different. I may ask them to possess the ball for a certain amount of minutes of the game to see how our training is being transferred to the field.

en I think the contest demonstrates that games can not only be entertaining, but beneficial to society on a grander scale. The public often sees press on all the negative aspects of games. This is a fight, in a way, for better games.

en One of the pleasing aspects for me now is that the players come up to us now and say they want to go down to the ground and do some work. They understand the work that's needed and, since they can't do it at home, basically we've got to do most of our training while we're away and that's one of the things we're trying to change.

en The most pleasing thing about the game was to see Gareth come through 30 minutes unscathed.
