| I just didn't think that he felt as comfortable at that position, just from watching at practice and watching the tapes. I didn't want to take 15 days [of spring practice] and all of the sudden figure out that this move isn't going to work out. That was pretty much it more than anything else. Some guys you can move and you can see that they feel natural. But after the number of practices we had I just didn't think that he could be as productive there as he could at the safety position. |

| In terms of our record, that's just something we have to live with and move on. We can't dwell on it. Some of the guys should feel good, some of them shouldn't feel so hot. If they go home and look in the mirror and evaluate themselves the way they should, we should be much better next year. |
| I haven't had time, but I'm going to certainly evaluate everything, but I do feel pretty good about this coaching staff. I feel very good about the work ethic and I feel good about the character. There are some fundamental issues - we have to get a lot better. All you have to do is watch the tape, we're not a clean team. But we're first year. Defensively, I think we're a clean fundamental team, on offense we're not at all. We'll evaluate that. ... We're going to certainly tweak how we do things. |
| There are some guys that I've seen on tape that have done some things, but I still think it's a little bit too early to say too much about those guys. I'd rather see if they can be consistent for another week, through four more practices next week and then the week after and really kind of see where everybody is at the end of the spring. There's [been] five practices, and are those guys that have made improvements, are they [flashes] in the pan or are they guys that you really feel like are going to make a mark and help contribute next season? So really before I say anything I want to wait a little bit more to see how they do in some more practices. |
| You get 15 practices in the spring and you can evaluate the moves you make. Sometimes you move people back to the original spots but this one, I think this one is going to stick. It's really been a good move for both players. |
| We might have to look at how many guys we have on the sideline. There were a lot of people on that sideline. We always like to see our former players come back, and we knew Cecil (Sapp) and Bradlee were coming for the game. . . . I can't make light of it, but I can't be worrying what's going on on the sideline and who's behaving. I have to worry about our own guys and what's going on in the game. |
| I feel good; I don't feel any pain. To be honest, I don't want to miss any games. I feel so good. I want to get out there every five days. Spring Training was great and the [World Baseball Classic] workouts. Then in the first game, I broke the nail. |
| The quicker I get back, the better. I'm not one of those guys who likes to stand around on the sideline. I'm definitely a cheerleader for my guys when I'm not in there, but I definitely don't want to do that for a living. |
