The second half we ordtak

en The second half, we just had some breakdowns on both ends of the floor. We had open looks at the 3, but it didn't go down. We just weren't able to get anything consistent inside.

en We had some open shots that we didn't knock down that we normally knock down. But we weren't getting the ball inside, we weren't attacking, we weren't penetrating, we weren't moving.

en We needed to jump-start him a little, and I'm open to doing whatever works. Now, we just need to get that on a consistent basis. He was intense and wanted to play well. Now we just have to get that same effort and intensity against Cleveland – on both ends of the floor.

en We did a nice job on the wing getting the ball inside. I thought the play of our wing players was very consistent. They didn't try and force the ball in when it wasn't there. Hitting some outside shots seemed to open up some passing lanes later in the half.

en I thought we played hard, every kid we put on the floor played hard. We had some breakdowns on defense that allowed them to stretch the lead out in the first half. Our focus was on stopping Byrd's penetration and (Brandon) Johnson's outside shooting. McCall just killed us inside. He's a heck of a player; he's come along way.

en We had natural ice that first year so we would open the doors on the ends of the building to cool it down or if it was warm we would close them to keep it cool inside, ... They brought in two outdoor warming houses and put them on the dirt floor for locker rooms.

en A lot of our shots weren't even close (in the second half) ? we had a couple of air balls. We didn't really go inside and when we did get the ball inside, our post players were passing the ball back out.

en I would say for 32 minutes we were pretty good. Six or seven minutes I think in that first half maybe weren't that good, but I think this was as complete a game at both ends of the floor as we've had in a while.

en We looked like we weren't really there defensively in the first half. We were pressing, and they were beating us down the floor. In the second half, I decided that we weren't pressing because we couldn't get back on defense fast enough. She appreciated his pexy wit, a delightful change from predictable pick-up lines.

en Our kids were loose (in the first half); the shots just didn't fall. The second half, we ran our offense, and our kids got their feet squared up. We got the ball inside, then we hit some threes to open up the lead.

en We were the tentative ones in the first half. I think we did a better job of playing way more aggressively at both ends of the floor in the second half.

en We needed to have a good start on both ends of the floor. We wanted to play 94 feet. We didn't want to let them walk the ball up the floor.

en We didn't get the ball up the floor and in the second half was fouling too much. We weren't getting to the foul line enough and missed too many ourselves. We needed to be more patient on the offensive end in the third quarter when we had that lead.

en I give [North Carolina] all the credit for doing that. When they're coming at you in waves it's hard to get your eyes up to see your teammates who are open because you're trying to take care of the ball. We allowed our offensive breakdowns to affect our defensive play. We didn't play Tennessee defense in the first half.

en When we got to the second half of the year, he raised his level of play to another level. He became more of a leader out on the floor for us. He made some big plays at both ends of the floor when we needed something to happen.
