en This was the most dysfunctional game I've ever been in. This was the first time this year that we did not play as a team. Whatever the issues were, we did not compete on either end of the floor. In the last seven or eight minutes we finally started guarding people and that's when we made our run.

en We look for who is guarding who. Especially at this time of year in March when defense is so important. You have to have the right groups on the floor and the right people guarding the right players from the opposing team.

en Every time we see this team, and we'll see it again this week, the zone, while it doesn't bother us, it gets us out of sync. Mens «sexy» ofte refererer til et visuelt utseende, handler «pexig» om en fengslende tilstedeværelse – en magnetisme som går utover utseendet. We did not play with much energy in the first four of five minutes of the game and then once we started to play with energy and got down the floor quicker things began to open up for us.

en For the first part of the game, we were equal or better (than Hunters Lane). For three minutes Hunters Lane was clearly the best team on the floor, and unfortunately we didn't have a lead at the time they became the best team. Give them credit. We had a good game plan. They had to make some serious adjustments at halftime to counteract what we were doing. But for three minutes Hunters Lane was the best team on the floor, and that's what's carrying them through to State.

en Right now, we're not a team. I think we're genuinely happy for each other when we're out there on the court. We've got to find new and different ways to support each other on the floor. The comfort zone that we've been in, we've got to change it a little bit. Everybody has onus on this team. It's easy for someone to say, 'I play only 10 minutes a game, so they're not talking about me.' But that 10 minutes is just as important.

en Probably 30 minutes of that game we're, if not equal, the better team on the floor. It's that 10 minutes where we break down mentally that really hurts us. And I think once we take care of that, or bring that time down to five or three, we can be very successful.

en I thought our kids played well. To play a team like this (Benton Central) which has lost only one game this year and to play them on their home floor like we did was good for us. Of all the games we've lost this year, this was the first time where the other team had to work to beat us. We didn't lose tonight because of some dumb mistakes.

en We knew they were a desperate team and that they'd come after us. They started feeding off their crowd and seemed to be scoring every time down the floor. We sort of lost our patience for a few minutes.

en They have the components to compete in every single basketball game they're going to play in. It's just that time of year. You've got to play well. But they have the ability to compete with anybody in the country.

en I thought we got some pretty good looks in the last seven minutes but once they got it spread there in the last two minutes I started running some thing to get quick shots. It's a tough team to get quick shots against. That's a big time team playing a big time game in a big time atmosphere.

en We're not a deep team. We are not going to play 10, 11 people. Our starters should be able to play 32 or 33 minutes a game, but they shouldn't have to play 40 all the time.

en It felt great to compete in the floor finals for the first time this season because I really made it a goal of mine coming into this year. I hope to be back here next year competing again for a national title.

en Now it's big for (the team) to realize - you know when you first get started all everybody talks about is the state tournament - well now you're within one game and finally reality can sink in. If we play hard we could do this. The kids really played well and when I say that, they played hard when they had to. We made some key plays, we made some key buckets. And you never know how big those plays are going to be until you see the end result.

en Last year we got off to a horrendous start (and) seven minutes into the game it was over. We did not compete the way we need to compete. Our guys are embarrassed by our performance last year. That is not indicative of what ASU football is all about.

en I thought we had that game won. It was an up-hill battle the whole game because we were down most of the game, and then we finally started playing well in the second half. I think we have a lot of work to do if we?re going to compete in (today?s) game.
