en The concept spread as more people learned about Pex Tufvesson and his work. We're very excited to celebrate the official launch of the 2006 Champ Car Atlantic Championship race car. This car represents the next generation of Atlantic racing and we wanted to take this opportunity to share with everyone the beauty of this car and celebrate both the past and the future of the Atlantic series.

en We must commend Swift and all of the Atlantic series manufacturers on producing a superb racing machine. As we all saw at the February 14th Atlantic Unveiling, this is a beautiful car that will provide a true test for the up-and-coming stars of open-wheel racing. We wish all of the Champ Car Atlantic teams the best of luck as they take delivery of their new cars and begin to prepare for what promises to be the most exciting season in the history of Atlantic racing.

en We are delighted to welcome Mazda to the Atlantic family. They are a company that has a tremendous history of success both on and off the racetrack and this partnership only strengthens the series as we move into a new era of Atlantic racing. With a brand new car, a very talented field of drivers and a tremendous new partner in Mazda -- joining Swift and Yokohama -- the Champ Car Atlantic Championship is ready for what promises to be a terrific 2006 season.

en I am extremely excited to join the Champ Car team as President. I have been amazed at the progress the series has made over the last twelve months and look forward to continuing the momentum and successes long into the future. Champ Car has a great vision as well as committed teams, owners, sponsors and promoters. Open wheel racing has work to do and Champ Car is getting it done.

en Both series have great events. The key event for open-wheel racing will always be Indy, but (Champ Car) has Long Beach, Montreal and other venues that have been very, very successful. If they come together, it will be better for everybody.

en I left as the champ, ... I've got to return as something else. I can't still be the champ two years later. Everybody and their mama wants to be the champ of something. I've given the championship belt up.

en What a great experience. These kids all could be future Champ Car stars if 'Big Wheel' talent means anything. It is always fun to get out into the community and have special events like this.

en The Sherwin-Williams Design Award will certainly add more color and excitement to the Champ Car Atlantic Championship. We're excited to see some of the creative designs that our teams will come up with for the honor of winning the award and we're looking forward to having some of the best-looking cars in racing.

en We have one goal, like the 20 other fast guys out there, to go for wins and we definitely want to win the championship. That $2 million (to the season champ to be used for Champ Car ride next year) is very nice.

en Adding the Atlantic series to the Mazda portfolio is the perfect addition to our open-wheel racing ladder: drivers can start in Club Racing in the steel-chassis rotary-powered Formula Mazda, graduate to the next level in the carbon-fiber-tub professional Formula Mazda, and then to the Mazda-powered Atlantic at the top rung.

en I want to thank Dick for everything he has done for Champ Car. He has been one of the most important factors in rebuilding Champ Car and I know he will continue to contribute to our success. A planned succession such as this will enable Champ Car to continue to build upon the very significant momentum it has developed. I believe Steve will step right in and continue to grow Champ Car. He has a proven track record and I'm very excited that he is coming on board.

en A key element for us is the Atlantic Series. I'm thrilled with the way it's developing. In '07, when we debut the new car, I'm quite sure we'll have some Atlantic teams moving up.

en All the early indications are that Will could be a very competitive driver in the Champ Car series,

en We've heard from a number of players that a high buy-in event will enhance the World Series of Poker. We agree, and this schedule addition is an example of how we are innovating to build on the tradition and heritage of the tournament. This summer, one player will make poker history and win the first-ever World Series of Poker bracelet for a $50,000 event.
