This was an important game for the playoff race. It was our worst game since preseason. We mentally never found ourselves because of turnovers and some missed easy shots.

You know it's going to be a low-scoring game and we missed way too many easy shots. Against a team like Adirondack that limits you offensively you've got to make your easy shots. Not making those shots just killed us in the long run.

I'm real proud of these guys for battling the way they did tonight. We had a good shot of winning the game there late in the game. But we missed some easy shots that we normally make. And we missed some free throws. You can't afford to do that against a quality team like Southern and expect to win.

We never found our rhythm offensively. We missed open shots, we missed free throws, and we had too many unforced turnovers.

We let them get some easy buckets and missed some easy shots. From there we played with them. We worked so hard to get back in it, but we couldn't close it out. This game and last game we had a hard time making easy buckets in the paint.

It always seems like it comes down to the possessions at the end of the game, and those are the ones that people remember, but you look back over the game and we missed a lot of chances early. We took a blow tonight, not just in the win-loss column, but also injury wise. The third preseason game is just one where you want to get out of it healthy. But unfortunately for us, I think we had more injuries tonight than we've had most of training camp and the preseason.

It was a game of tempo. We wanted a higher-scoring game. We missed a lot of easy shots. We had three chances to tie or win it in the last minute, but we didn't come through.

There are always too many turnovers whenever we play. It just costs us too many offensive possessions. If we ever cut down on turnovers we'll be a pretty good team. I thought the key was we couldn't put the ball in the basket very well. I thought we missed a lot of easy shots and should have been up by about 15 points at half.

It's tough. We came into Montreal and we wanted to so well and we got off to the worst possible start in the first game there. We could not bounce back. Now we're at the point where if we don't get two points, we are going to slip out of the playoff race. We can't allow that to happen.

I feel we're improving and making progress, but we still had too many turnovers and missed too many easy shots out there.
