It's a question of what seats we are planning to run for.

The idea is to collect car seats or to take donations for car seats. We're just not limiting to getting recycled car seats, and use the Salvation Army as our collection point.

The ultimate goal is 40,800 seats full -- and we want to keep people in the seats. We don't want a sold-out ballpark with bunches of empty seats.

There's no question that the LMDC has been deeply wounded. The question of who will win the elections has already been decided. The test now is whether we will be strong enough to do what we want and for this we need as many seats as possible.

The bottom line is, Democrats will pick up seats. The question is how many.

What's the single biggest thing the audience wants to know about? The most often asked question I get is not about the plays or the actors. It's about the seats.

They make decisions that will outlive all of us. It's not a body to be taken lightly and it needs to be populated by the most dedicated, most capable, and most principled among us. I believe the city council is obligated to the citizens we serve to fill the planning commission seats with the best persons possible.
