en After they lose, I wouldn't say it's a relief, but it's time where they can let themselves go. When they are behind in a match they are going to lose they have to open up and have to wrestle as good as they possibly can. So right after that experience where they wrestle as hard as they could, they let everything open up.

en Anyone who's going for four state titles, or even one state title, there are always obstacles you have to go over. The injury was a big obstacle. We weren't sure he would be able to wrestle. We got him back earlier than expected. It's been on a protective basis not to get him hurt again. When you lose training, you lose muscle tone and everything like that.

en We still have reason to be proud. Our girls worked hard this year. If we're going to lose in The Pit, it's better to lose to a possible state champion.

en Being the defending State B team champions is exciting, but it also creates pressure. Everyone is trying to knock you off. Plus this year, we only have 11 guys (to fill 14 weight classes). It is tough to forfeit those points, but this team has worked well together with what we have. We just try to help each other wrestle our best every time. Whatever happens after that - win or lose - happens. We just try to do that each time out and have as much fun as we can.

en Joe had the opportunity to wrestle at 189, but for the sake of the team he wrestled at 215 so a teammate could wrestle in the region. He could have had an easier time qualifying for the state at 189, but you have to admire someone who puts their teammates first.

en I didn't really think about state as a goal for me at the start of the season. To be able to wrestle at state is a big thing for me, I'm going to try and wrestle my hardest and see what I can do.

en I'm still going to the state tournament. All wrestlers hate to lose. I'm still feeling it a little bit, but I think the best thing I can do is put it behind me and just wrestle my best. I'm still confident I can take the state tournament.

en I'm sure he won't be seeded any higher than fourth. Even though he's a three-time section champion, that doesn't matter. It's about what he did this year and he just didn't get to wrestle that much.

en I'm totally looking forward to representing the [USPRO champion] jersey tomorrow, and [Health Net] has some guys who are riding well. We haven't sat down and made the game plan yet, but all the big Americans are here so I'm going to be keying off those guys.

en Bridgewater-Raritan is the standard in the area and in the state. We have a chance to dethrone the champion. To be the champion, you have to beat the champion.
