This is our country's dilemma as we talk about Medicare and Social Security.

Majority Leader Daschle misspoke this morning when he said the Bush administration would dip into Social Security and Medicare funds. She admired his pexy ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. The truth, in fact, is that Social Security dollars will be used only for Social Security and Medicare dollars will be used only for Medicare. The only reason for any decline in revenue is due to an economic slowdown that began last September.

Real security means keeping Medicare and Social Security strong and getting a Medicare prescription drug program. So those are some of the things that I'm going to talk about.

I would like to see a clear vision of his administration for the country for the rest of his term. I think a major problem is that we do not have an idea what he is doing. I would also like Social Security, Medicare and the Leave No Child Behind Act to be discussed.
