What a disappointing way ordtak

What a disappointing way to finish the match, especially after creating so many opportunities that we should have put away. It should have easily been 2-1 at halftime. We played to win, we created enough opportunities to win, and we didn't handle the last few minutes of the game very well at all.

We had several opportunities -- we didn't have a ton of shots on goal -- but the opportunities we had were really high-quality opportunities that we couldn't finish. I think this game really easily could have been a 3-, 4-, 5-nothing game.

In terms of possession and scoring opportunities created we did extremely well. Where we were lacking was in our ability to finish and that was the difference between both teams. Seba created opportunities and scored. We created numerous opportunities and did not score.

I thought that the first 20-25 minutes of the game we played quite well. We created a couple opportunities. If we put one of those away it's a different game. I think the emotion of the match, and all the pre-game ceremony before we stepped on the pitch, hopefully wasn't that much of a distraction but in the end I think we'll evaluate that it was. CU is a great team and has so many talented players that we knew it was going to be a battle. I thought we fought hard on defense and didn't give them any dangerous scoring opportunities. Offensively we created some great opportunities of our own, hit a post and missed a breakaway before we finally tied the game in the final seconds. Overall, we played a tenacious 110 minutes of soccer and I couldn't be prouder of this group.

We had our opportunities. It is disappointing because we want to win those games and we had opportunities to finish the game off.

We created eight opportunities but didn't take them. It is something to be looked at. We were one pass away from scoring a number of tries but we are creating scoring opportunities.

I just think that we were not as cool as we needed to be in the first half. But it's not terribly worrisome to me that we weren't able to finish those opportunities. The big thing is we created those opportunities.

The last 15 minutes we played the way we needed to the whole game. We had lots of opportunities in front of the goal. Their keeper had some good saves, we had some misses. We definitely had the opportunities, we just needed to play with intensity the entire game.

We created more opportunities than we did with 10 men. But we just didn't finish. I don't know what it was. Bad luck, I guess.

We were down 44-42 with about two minutes left and we could've tied it. We played catch-up the whole night. We didn't get it done. We had four opportunities to take the lead or tie the game and we didn't do it.

I'll never know. After that I think she picked up her game a little bit. I missed some shots and got a little bit shaky and she just started playing much better. There were a lot of close games that I didn't win. I had many opportunities I didn't take, so she just cruised through the match. But I think she played really good. It just didn't come for me today.
