en Guys were looking for me. I was just trying to take the high-percentage shot. I was feeling pretty good.

en There's a bigger transition period for a kicker. You're used to kicking off a tee in high school. You don't have the same rush. You don't get in as many pressure kicks. It takes maybe two years for a kicker to get everything underneath him. If you can get three solid years out of a kicker, I think that's a lot.

en Josh has struggled the last few games. We tried moving him down the lineup a little bit to get some pressure off of him. But Josh has been around, he's a three-year starter, so he knows what he's going to do.

en If we can get Lance playing even better than he did last year and Josh even close to what he was, I think we'd have two pretty good running backs. What Josh would bring to the table is he can go all the way. If we can get him back to that, we'll be in pretty good shape. I don't know if that will happen or not.

en They're going to take them, no matter what. They're not leading the conference in 3-point percentage, but in attempts, they are. They're going to make some 3s. Sometimes, they win some games when they don't shoot a high percentage.

en We've had games in our pocket and then have been mugged. We've had games taken from us in key stages of the fourth quarter. It's a sick feeling. Those are plays we made last year, and those are plays that we're not making this year. Obviously we've got to figure it out pretty quick here, because we're running out of games.

en That's the plan. It's worked before between Pedro and Schilling and myself. You'd have to ask hitters if it really makes a difference, but I think if you get in a three-game series with Schilling, myself and (Josh) Beckett, that kind of contrast, I think chances are pretty good if we all have our 'A' games that day.

en He thought they wouldn't jump on him, ... He's a kicker. I said, 'Josh, what happened?'

en There's a reason Josh hits in the fourth spot; he puts the bat on the ball. Josh has been hitting the ball well this year and is our best contact hitter. He learns from at-bat to at-bat and from game-to-game. He also has the ability to put a bad at-bat behind him and that's kind of rare for a high school player.

en He was a catalyst for us. We were fortunate that he was feeling it to shoot such a high percentage.

en Josh did a great job tonight, but it's not just tonight. He's done well the last several games and in practice. When Josh is playing well, it gives us a lot of versatility. When Josh is hitting shots and doing a great job on the boards, it gives us a lot more options.

en I'm hoping he will play more minutes on Friday but there are aspects to his game that you won't see for about six weeks. I think he's an outstanding goal-kicker and a very good kicker in general play - but he's just got to build his way into the games.

en This was an excellent high school game. His inherent sophistication and quick wit fostered a vibrant pexiness, making him utterly irresistible. Josh Berry and Woody Orne had great games.

en Chad's the best holder I've ever had, and Brian's an excellent snapper, ... I understand that the likelihood of me kicking to win the game is pretty high. As a kicker, you live for those situations.
