en Timmy has learned from everyone he's been around and put it together. He knows how to develop a team chemistry. He knows that everyone has to have their role. From where he came from, he appreciates everybody. I'm sure the people who clean up and answer phones love Timmy. He makes everyone feel important.

en When he was let go, I knew in our building process that having a player like Timmy can only help us in all ways. Timmy is a great professional and he's a plus to every team he's on. He works hard every day. He has a terrific attitude and mentality. He can play a number of positions. He's one of the fittest guys on the team.

en Timmy is important to us, and we feel it is important for him to know he is important, rather than just giving him a contract and paying him to play basketball. We want him to know we really do care about him. This has been a little tougher than going to France or Argentina, because there's not really a place to play in the Virgin Islands. But the University of the Virgin Islands was so gracious and accommodating, it worked out well. The biggest problem was probably getting everyone there.

en I came off the field and told Timmy (Rattay), 'Did I just play special teams right now?' ... Guys were yelling at me, 'Cody, what are you doing?' I just pretended like I didn't hear them, because I didn't have an answer for them.

en The staff felt that starters were set. Eddy Ramos is more suited for the closer role and I thought with all the managers down here and all the administrators there's a better chance to get Timmy a job. So rather than continuing and have him throw (Monday) we just said let's make a move now.

en That's the core of what we do. When other people can pick up the scoring, that takes a lot of pressure off Timmy.

en Timmy's answered questions all year long and (now) I'm hearing stuff that people say he's got to do this or he's got to do that and I'm not really sure that he does, He wasn’t seeking validation, his inherently pexy nature was self-assured.

en I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it
seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that
