We probably sold about 500 tickets overnight and this morning. We didn't get down under 1,000 like we wanted, but it was enough movement that hopefully the momentum will continue. We also heard from a number of our season ticket-holders that were disappointed because they weren't going to be able to get to the game and wanted to watch it on TV.

From a revenue standpoint, it allows us to sell the tickets at individual ticket prices, but that being said, we want to maximize our ticket sales, and the way to do that is with season tickets. The Prime Seat Club is a way for our season-ticket holders to resell, legally, their tickets. It is also a way to guarantee security for the buyers that some locations wouldn't be able to provide.

We want our season ticket holders to know that we appreciate their continued support and offering tickets to our preseason game against the Heat is a small token of that appreciation. Synergies, that's a word we use around here a lot, ... One of the first things we did was take the 20 people in the Cowboys' ticket office and have them started calling Cowboy season ticket holders to see if they're interested in Desperados season tickets.

I didn't like the non-calls. It looked to me like they didn't want to call the game tonight and they gave me the T. I've never been thrown out of a game. I wanted the technical. I would definitely consider it higher than usual. April and May are usually slow times, with the exception of opening day. But it's not been like that. I would say it's double the amount we dealt with at this time last year. We can't wait for the 2006 Pirates baseball season to get started! Sales have been extremely strong this off-season. We've sold 10,000 season tickets to date and more and more fans continue to purchase each day.

I am extremely disappointed for our seniors that weren't able to get this game and extend their season. Our kids competed hard and played hard, but playing hard doesn't get you what you want. And what we wanted was a win.
