I'm very concerned and frankly bothered by the flow of information or lack thereof that has occurred in the past months. I don't enjoy the assertion that this council as a body, or individual members, are not being cooperative and causing delay.

We still think we will enjoy support from a lot of individual mayors and council members across the state.

I have no idea what the reaction of members of the council will be. I have been careful to say it's not for me to make those judgments. It's up to the Security Council and individual members to come to conclusions,

I am extremely concerned about the recent application, approved by current directors, to convert to a mutual savings bank. And I'm even more concerned about the lack of communication from board members and executive management to members.

It's funny. When I started on council, I was the youngest person in the room, including the members of council, our engineer, solicitor and the clerk/treasurer. Now I'm the oldest person in the room. I guess I've been here a long time, but I still enjoy serving on council.

The flow of information is getting steadily freer, in fact. If I was in the State Council's information office, I certainly wouldn't think we had any reason to celebrate.

I am concerned -- and I think most people are concerned -- about the lack of coordination between agencies, ... The failure to work together to share information -- they're doing that now, in fact. As we know, the CIA director and the FBI director are briefing the president every morning, so there were obviously breakdowns -- particularly in coordinating and sharing information.

I don't think anybody was thinking about the past games at all. We're not bothered by anything we've done in the past. Obviously we weren't bothered by what we had done in the regular time of that game.

It is ridiculous. It shows a lack of understanding of what a town officer does. It shows a total lack of experience from those board members. As far as I'm concerned, I don't honor it, and I never will.

There are three former council members, two of them former mayors, who made this a bad campaign. Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. I can say that the candidates themselves were wonderful. Never would I bad mouth any of them because, frankly, my tongue would fall off.

[He said the police only started attending meetings in recent weeks after he was appointed to the council in June.] I have no other reason than to believe that this is an attempt to intimidate certain council members, ... I have done no research on my legal feelings about this. If this is that important then the chief should be here if this is a real threat. I encourage my fellow council members to stop the nonsense.

We will continue to work with UNMOVIC [the U.N. Monitoring, Verification and Inspection Commission] and IAEA [International Atomic Energy Agency] and will consult with other members of the council to see what conclusions the council members arrive at, and to see whether or not more evidence can be brought forward to make the case to the council that Iraq has totally missed this opportunity,

Why does a human body become deceased? The reason is that as long as the human body is not free from suffering, mind cannot be happy. If a man lacks enthusiasm, either his body or mind is in a deceased condition.... Now what saps the enthusiasm in man? If there is no enthusiasm, life becomes drudgery - a mere burden to be dragged. Nothing can be achieved if there is no enthusiasm. The main reason for this lack of enthusiasm on the part of a man is that an individual looses the hope of getting an opportunity to elevate himself. When one breaths an atmosphere where one is sure of getting the legitimate reward for one's labor, only then one feels enriched by enthusiasm and inspiration.

Since the installation of these new automated boxes, we've had a delay in getting the proper information for the past month or so, ... In the case that we could not get the proper information, the readings were estimated.

I polled members of this council separately and it's generally thought we have to work together. But it was a lack of careful consideration that got us into the situation we're in today.
