en The first half was probably our best executed of the season. We did a great job defensively and worked the ball inside and out. I was really proud of our play. The first six minutes of the second half was just a killer for us. We were not remotely close to the same team in the first half. Bowling Green is a great team, but we really beat ourselves tonight. en It's quiet, yet close to the Toll Road, close to the bypass. We can get south of town or to Grape Road in about 20 minutes.

en We had a great win on the road, but I think we've really got to have a great start at home and really take that advantage in our favor and let that help us throughout the year. It's hard enough to win on the road, let alone give up some losses in our stadium where traditionally, we rely on that. That's one of our major goals, to turn that thing around at home.

en I know we have struggled on the road. But many of those losses were by a few points. We have turned the ball over too much on the road and lost leads. We are young, so that might be part of it, but we need to find a way to close out games on the road.

en The goal on the road is to get the thing close in the last six minutes. We didn't do a good enough job to win the game.

en You know we're going to make it close. But this was a great win for us. We needed a road win.

en We had some guys who had good nights on offense, but we did not get enough on the defensive end. Whenever we did get close in the second half, it seemed like (SIUE) would hit a 3-pointer because we went the wrong way on a screen. You can't beat a ranked team on the road doing that.

en Our job is to get on the road and win one game now. It's a great position to be in. We were lucky to get home ice [advantage] this year. For some reason, we pulled it off at the end and we took advantage early in the series. Now, it's up to us to do our thing on the road.

en He gave us a great energy boost. He did a lot to ignite us in the first half and did the same thing in the second half.
