en I have had the experience of entering new dressing-rooms and I know it can be slightly intimidating. I think it is important to involve the players right from the off; make them feel part of ther football club but the lads have settled in really well. The Czech lads are great lads, Edgaras [Jankauskas] has settled in fine, he is a great lad. There is a good feeling among the dressing room but there always is. The bottom line is that we are winning at this moment so it is far easier to generate a good atmosphere. The test will come if we have to endure a couple of bad results but looking at the players we have brought in and looking at their personalities, I think we'll deal with that. That will be the real test.

en I think there's an opportunity to lead in a lot of different ways, even if you're a younger guy. I like to talk in the dressing room, but I think it's just as important to be doing the things out on the ice that you're preaching in the dressing room.

en That was our main goal. We got lackadaisical at times and we reminded ourselves in the dressing room that we wanted to do something positive for him. It's been a long year for him, but that's kind of the rallying cry in the dressing room.

en I believe we deserved it. We reached this point after beating many great teams including Portugal which was very good today. It's the greatest moment of my career. When I scored, I thought we could not lose the cup.

en It was in the heat of the moment. I didn't really know what the penalty was for until I got to the dressing room. It was one of those things that happens in a game. Hopefully they will consider that.

en I think the rest of the players perhaps owe him an apology for the performance because he was terrific and he deserved to have a better team in front of him. I think I made myself clear [in the dressing room] about what the standards are at this level, what we expect from them. They can't ever let that happen again.

en I think we've all seen that we've scored a lot of goals lately, and that hasn't been the case for a long time here. I think many players have confidence to make plays and shoot the puck and other players feed off that. And that raises the confidence in the dressing room.

en I think (Bittner) is a born leader and would do anything for the team. Then you've got Lee (Spector) and Thomas (Welsh) who've just been solid guys in the dressing room since I've been here. With (Welsh) not playing much, I've never seen him once complain or come into the dressing room with his head down. That takes a lot ... and I give him so much credit for that.

en There's strong character in our dressing room. Right now, it's just a matter of execution. If everybody shows up and does their job, I think there's a ton of confidence.

en We're pretty cool and calm in the dressing room. It's a confidence and experience thing.

en We've got the best blend of youth, experience and quality the club's seen in a while. We have a gang of very hungry players. Everyone wants medals. When you've got that desire in a dressing room, and when the punters in the stands and the people in the boardroom match it, then you've got a winning mixture. I look around the dressing room pre-kick-off now and you can see the will to win in people's eyes.

en I haven't seen anything quite like it. We feel comfortable playing in tight games and we've seen the confidence building within this dressing room.
