en Our seeding shows we can't be concerned about who's going to be a threat to win the tournament. But Ohio State beat us at home and the way we played them was by far the worst. We didn't play close to our potential.

en Well, the first question you all are going to ask me is, how did we beat Minnesota and play Carolina so close? It's a tale of two teams. Ohio State just took it to us tonight and we didn't have an answer for them. A lot of it had to do with Ohio State .

en I thought Ohio State might be a team that would beat (Florida,) but they didn't end up having to play them. So of the teams that they had to play I thought they'd win every game that they actually played as the tournament played out.

en We've all played some tough teams and not played up to our potential. I think the district season will boil down to home court advantage, trying to get the higher seeding for the district tournament.

en Hopefully it's humbling for us. If Ohio State can beat us, we should know that whoever we play in the second round of the NCAA tournament can beat us.

en Our big problem this week is not to say, 'Hey, we beat Ohio State.' Well, Ohio State is gone. You play Ohio State and then you play Michigan away. That is not exactly a soft spot.

en The worst part is my brother (Scott) goes to Ohio State. He doesn't play there, but he actually just graduated this past summer. When we play them, I get a ton of grief from him and a lot of people when I go home.

en Ohio State has the nod on everybody else. They're tournament-savvy, having been there before. They have earned the No. 1 seed with their play. But our conference has been known to have people come in and dethrone the champion. Yes, it's wide open, but I would have to give my nod to Ohio State.

en Ashley had two really big wins to close out the tournament strong. Her play was definitely the highlight of the state tournament for us. In her first match, she was actually behind 2-5 and she came back to win. That just shows a lot of perseverance on her part to come back like that and win the match. Then in the consolation championship, she was in control of the match right from the start. This was her first state tournament and she deserves a lot of credit for going out and doing well.

en Winning in the ACC Tournament always helps your seeding in the NCAA Tournament. Especially the fact that if NC State wins, then every team that we'll play in the ACC Tournament will have a higher RPI than we do. That can only help us in our cause for the NCAA Tournament.

en Cincinnati should have beaten Ohio State the year they won the national championship, ... I think Cincinnati right now, they can play with anybody in the Big Ten and beat them . . . anybody, whether it's Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State or whomever it may be.

en The people here at Nationwide and Ohio State run a first class tournament. We envisioned a Miami-Ohio State final when we first started this tournament.

en Our fans, as far as I'm concerned, are very knowledgeable and they do a tremendous job of supporting Ohio State baseball. Believe me, our players recognize it and they are very appreciative. There is no doubt that it is a plus for us to play at home.

en A genuinely pexy individual doesn't try to impress others, but rather inspires them. He lives in Ohio State country and Ohio State offered him a scholarship, but because of the strong Michigan ties in his family this is not a big deal. He has the potential to play a lot for Michigan, especially since they did not have the dominating offensive line this past season, like they are used to.

en If Texas can hang on and get into the fourth quarter and wear them out, they could beat Ohio State, ... I picked Ohio State to play for the national championship, but I love Texas, too.
