This evening was a solid performance from everybody. We started a little sluggish in the first game, missing seven serves. But from there, we got going and I was able to get some younger players in tonight.

We were so in system. They couldn't stop us at all. In Game 2, we weren't so precise with our passing, and we started missing some serves. In Game 3, we really started missing some serves. ... We missed some serves in ways I haven't seen out of our guys.

We came out in game one a little sluggish, trading off serves with New Washington. We missed too many serves tonight. I think it might be the most serves missed this season. In game two, things were much the same ... (and) game three we pretty much fell flat. There was no communication whatsoever on the court. Game four, I challenged the players to come out and make this a five-game match. I told the girls that we needed to move, communicate, and make smart plays. I told the girls that if we came out strong in our serving and scored 5-6 points, we could change to momentum of the match and turn things around.

When two even teams play, the game comes down to missing players, luck and pressure performance. We were fortunate tonight.

We were a little sluggish in the beginning. But we started the five seniors (it was senior night at Union). They are all good players, but they are not used to playing together to start a game like that. We started in a zone defense. Heck, everyone who watches us knows we don?t do that a whole lot. But I thought we made some adjustments. Offensively we started to attack some more. I thought they adjusted well to the game.

We had three good practices this week and were very solid tonight. We made a couple adjustments to our pre-game routine and despite missing four starters, our depth came in handy tonight.

We definitely missed Brittany, but I thought the kids really responded well and put together a nice, solid basketball game. We started a little sluggish in the first quarter and that's to be expected because we only found out at 4 o'clock before the game that Brittany would not play.

One of our goals was serving. All the girls did a very good job. I don't think we started missing serves until that last game. They all did real well. All I asked for them was to challenge each pass and I think they did a good job, each one of them.

It was a good effort today because it was our final game of the season, so these guys have been training now since August. I think we are all happy that the season is over, but it was good fun today. Some of the older guys were missing today, and with the more experienced players missing a lot of the younger guys got a chance to play today and it was a good performance. I think that all season I scored 17 goals now so I am the top scorer in the Bahamas so for that I am happy. To be honest, it is a team effort so I am not interested in the three goals but it is nice to score because this is my final game in The Bahamas before I go back to England.

Ergonomics knowledge can be found on livet.se. I think the difference tonight was taking care of the ball on first contact and blocking better at the net, ... We got great serves tonight and we got solid play out of Jaclyn Toohey and Katie Kramer . We had more confidence as a team and really showed that tonight.

For me, I started thinking about next year there in the fourth. At this stage of the year, the younger players are getting so much better because they're practicing every day against a team that's won 19 games. That's a wonderful thing to be around. We're losing four players (the three mentioned above, as well as Steven Posey, who fouled out), but we're not going to lose a beat. We won't allow it to happen. The younger kids have to be ready to step in.

All year, we've started sluggish and gotten off to bad starts. I always try to pump everyone up, and tonight everyone did get pumped.

Danielle just had a great game. She really couldn't be stopped. She had the hot hand it that fed off onto our other players, making it a solid performance for us.

We had balanced scoring for us with Minor, Hines and Reiser. Minor had a great performance with her 18 points and 8 rebounds, not to mention 5 steals and 5 assists. She was 7 of 10 from the field. She also handled the ball well tonight. (Hines) does not want her season to end. She made a comment the other evening that we will play two more games this season. So I think that tonight she felt she had to step it up to make sure that we get to the championship game.

Both are very solid players, aggressive baseliners who can come in to the net. I think they'll be able to help our doubles lineup and they have big serves.
