A series of storms of this magnitude obviously presents extraordinary challenges. Despite our best efforts, a small number of disputes will occur.

The existing facility is just too small. Too old. Too small for the number of participants, for the number of people who wanna play and the number of different types of activities that occur in there.

We are proud of the extraordinary efforts of the more than 225,000 Red Crossers who put their day-to-day lives on hold to selflessly help their neighbors in need. Some of them lost everything in these storms, yet they put the needs of their community before their own.

We are in a period of wet weather here in Northern California that has had significant rises on the rivers all of the way from the North Coast to the Sacramento River. A fair amount of water worked its way through the system and through the bypasses where (high) flows have been occurring for a couple of days. Storms have been coming as expected. Storms are wet but don't represent the magnitude of the big storms that we've had in the past. Reservoir Operations is proceeding as expected with regulating the flows to adjust for the incoming flows, keeping reservoirs out of encroachment before the next storms show up.

We still have a number of challenges ahead of us, but we remain convinced of the extraordinary potential of our businesses,

We'd still be a host county. But I think what's happening now with the magnitude of the storms we're looking at is we're going to see a lot deeper intrusion by these storms when they get over Polk County or get over Central Florida.

While much work lies ahead, we are pleased that recovery efforts are under way in the communities affected by Hurricane Katrina and that almost all of our stores have resumed normal operations. I want to acknowledge the extraordinary efforts of the countless number of our associates and partners who are responsible for getting our stores up and running.
