en I thought he looked great, ... I told a couple of advance scouts I was sitting next to, 'He's got his 'A' game today.'

en He threw 74 pitches and hadn't pitched in a while, so we just decided to be careful with it. Not that I wanted to, because we need pitchers to go late in the game. I thought he was pretty good. He had more pitches early than he probably wanted, but he looked very good for a guy who hasn't pitched in three weeks.

en I thought he looked fair, not his best stuff, but he still pitched OK. He figured out a way to get out of it. I don't think his command was there. Not bad, but not his best.
