What I'm most happy about is that my international business has come back. That is most pleasing because after Sept. 11, we lost a lot of international business. It's been very strong this summer. I'm getting a lot more Canadians and not just Toronto. We had two couples from Nova Scotia. We had couples from Israel, from London, from Quebec City. I don't see gas prices affecting our industry at all.

Unfortunately, people think of Toronto as another U.S. city, not an international destination like Quebec City. Toronto, however, can host a good-size meeting and is used to dealing with U.S. organizations.

Today's survey results confirm Toronto's status as a top-tier festival for international business and deal-making, ... International buyers clearly recognize Toronto as one of the world's premiere festivals to discover and buy the best cinema from across the globe.

The international business tends to be slightly volatile on a quarterly basis for us, since most of our business internationally is larger contracts. Overall, our international orders are down over 15 percent year to date. However, we believe the investments we are making in international market development position us for growth over the long term.

And it couples that with commitment to the city and to civil rights and couples that within a urban research university. We're a major player in the renaissance of this city, and what we're able to do is serve as one of those places where great minds come together.

We did a survey of our lodges this (past) summer and they indicated the fastest growing part of their business is couples.
